“Mom? Mom? ”
I snap out of my thoughts to see my daughter Alia standing in front of me. She looks just like her grandma Melody. The long black hair, the big dreamy eyes. Except, she has my emerald green eyes.
“Mom you said you're taking us out for ice cream.” she frowns.
“I know baby. We're leaving now. Where's Chloe?” I ask her.
“I'm here.” her twin sister answers walking in.
“I'll be back in a second. Wait here.” I say walking upstairs.
“Ok. Be fast!”
