Cody's POV:
I'm happy to have Elizabeth back and I feel so stupid for chasing her away in the first place. She makes everything so peaceful and she makes the pain go away. I know she's keeping it together. She smiles when she wants to cry. She's stronger than I thought. And she deserves much more.
“Hey baby?” I say gently nudging her.
“Yes?” she turns over.
“Promise me you'll get married when I die.”
“I can't. I love you. Only you. Forever.”
“I know. But that doesn't mean you can't love someone else.”
“I'm not remarrying.” she scoffs.
“Then I'll be upset. Even when I'm gone.”
“Don't say Cody.”
“The choice is yours.” I shrug.
“Fine.” she sighs. “I'll get married. But just so you know, I'll never love anyone as much as I love you.” she says snuggling closer to me.
“I know.”
