For a moment I was able to forget the world around us, just listening to Spence’s soft voice filling the room and laughing about how crazy some of the professors at our college were. Just talking about happier times and listening to him tell stories of his sister and also of how Zack used to be. Stories of Zack in his awkward times before college and everything. But now the real world has kicked in again and a bad feeling settles in my stomach.
Liam comes over, kneeling in front of me, his eyes sad as he looks at me. “You look like you need some fresh air and sunshine.
