  I must be in shock or something because I don't even hear Lil come back into the house

I can't help but laugh a little at Lil the look on her face right now makes her looks kind of constipated.

"Oh I'm serious but wait it gets better I asked him to leave because I needed to go and buy something to wear on my date"

"OK one what date are you talking about and why am I just hearing about this? and 2 what did he say?"

"He smiled like this big ass smile spread across his face and then he asked what time he should he pick me up"

"Are you joking please tell me your joking and he's  not that arrogant"

"Oh  I'm serious alright and when I told him ts not with him  he said  and I quote what do you mean its not with me your my woman"

"I know right I mean one min were not together so I have no rights to him the next I'm his woman."

"There is no date I just said that to get rid of him,"

Not  long after Lil leaves so I decide to go for a walk to clear my head  some, I cant help but feel its been to easy to escape Ivan I know that  he'll be looking for me he hates to be made a fool of and that's exactly  what I did when I left him.

I start to head back when I here a  whining sound coming from the alley I just walked past I stop and listen  and hear it again, so I follow the sound and what I see makes me cry tied to the side of the dumpster is a Pitbull dog but hes just skin and bones,  I don't want to leave him so I decide to approach slowly.

"Hey boy I'm not going to hurt you"

I get down on my hands and knees and wait for the dog to come to me he slowly approaches, when he's close  I reach out slowly once he doesn't move I gently pat him on his head He looks at me with these big sad eyes and I decide then and there that this dog is mine, Now I need to figure out how to get him to the vets I cant ring Lil because shes at work , I get my phone out looking through the small amount of numbers and decide to ring Butch.

"Hey Butch its McKenzie are you busy?"

" Hi sweetheart I'm never to busy for you what do ya need?"

" I need a lift home and then maybe to a vets or maybe vets first then home I don't know"

"Sweetheart calm down and tell me why you need a vet you don't have any pets "

"I found a dog in an alley tied to a dumpster and he needs a vet"

"Please tell me it's a small fluffy dog"

"Well not exactly it's a pitbull"

"Christ woman what the hell were you thinking it could of killed you"

"Well it didn't so can you pick up or not?"

"Of course I will what alley are you in?"

After I tell him where I am I hang up and wait the dog gets more comfortable around me and lays down with his head on my lap about ten mins later I hear a car come down the alley and stop but its not Butch that gets out its Maddog.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR f*****g MIND? Why would you put yourself at risk like that"

"Can you lower your volume your scaring him, and I wasn't at risk also what I do is none of your god damn business I didn't ring you if I wanted you I would of rang you"

"Listen Angel retract your claws I know I f****d up big time and I know it's going to take time for me to earn your trust but let's get one thing straight you need help you ring me understand? Not one of my brothers me"

"I don't think so buddy if this dog didn't need a vet asap Id tell you to f**k off but he needs help so let go"

Maddog walks over to Brute that's what Ive named him in my head Brute backs away growling I approach and he calms a little, With me patting him he allows Maddog to pick him and place him if the truck.

Brute is given a clean bill of health hes just under weight so needs a special diet to gain it back Madog tried to talk me out of taking Brute home but he got told to f**k off this dogs mine we've both been mistreated in the past and were going to help each other heal.

One Month Later

Maddog and I have gotten closer over the last month Ive not forgiven him completely but were getting there especially when I crave something random in the middle of the night hes the one I call and it doesn't matter what time he goes and gets it,Butch has gained his weight and hes a beast  he's also really protective of me so I feel safe for the first time in a while, I should of known it wouldn't last.

I'm 21 weeks today and Ive got my sonogram I'm not sure if i want out find out the s*x or not I suppose I'll decide when I get there, Lil couldn't come with me so Maddog is taking me like I said hes earning his way back to being forgiven completely.

"Hello I'm Miss green's Dr and you are?"

I blush because who says that in front of  a doctor, I ignore him and look at Dr Brown and smile.

I agree with him Dr brown moves the wand around then freezes the screen,

I laugh thinking hes joking but when I look up his face is deadly serious well s**t, Dr brow wipes my stomach and tells me to take a seat we go over a few things and on the way out i schedule my next appointment.

We stop for quick bite to eat then Maddog drops me home I tell him to come back later for dinner.

He leans down to kiss me again just as his phone rings, cursing he takes his phone out and starts talking, I leave him to it and head to the kitchen to let Brute out, while he outside and Maddogs still on the phone, e , I decide to go through my mail grabbing it from my bag I start going though it.

I come to an envelope with no postage stamp just my name on it and when I open it my blood runs cold and i scream in bold letters there's four words
