Chapter Twenty-One
Kyle Maggie had agreed to help him look for his mum, so they'd rushed to gather her things and a bag of his to drop at her house; she'd tried to protest but Kyle insisted that they stay together, it only made sense since they'd both be alone otherwise. After they'd dropped off their bags and Maggie has stuck a load of laundry on, they started around town; checking all the bars and anywhere that served alcohol. After the 4th bar had been hopeless, Kyle started to lose faith and wonder if there was any point. Maggie had managed to convince him to speak to the police and get some advice, which he'd done. Whilst Maggie grabbed them both a drink he'd made a formal statement about her being missing; he'd discussed what she was last wearing, where she usually headed to and how long she was
