I waved with all my strength at the incoming sports car that was racing towards us.
I noticed it was not slowing down so I decided to jump in the middle of the road.
It let out a screeching sound as it came to a halt right in front of me. “Looks like you got his attention. Or whoever is in there.” Harper said with a grin.
Flash light was on, the humming sound of the car was the only thing that could be heard. I expected whoever was behind the wheel to get down but he didn't.
I looked at Harper and back at the tinted screen. Moving closer, I knocked.
The window came down a bit only to reveal his face. “ Are you lost?” the voice said, trying to cover his face.
I don't know if we were safe but we can't keep trekking down to the university.
