I hang up and immediatly get a little anxious. What could Gavin want to talk about that's good news and bad news? The only thing I can think of right now is that it has something to do with that Gwen woman and her lawyer. I hadn't heard anything since her lawyer cornered me. Maybe something did happen. I don't know, and I only have a half hour left in my shift but I have a feeling it's going to go by really freaking slowly if I'm all wrapped up in my own head. I get back to work and try to keep myself really busy but since my shift ends so soon I'm not taking any other tables just doing background work, and it's the worst because it's kind of mindless so I'm just thinking about that phone call. When my shift finally ends I clock out and practically run to Gavin's office.
