I'm sitting in my office playing with Charlie because there's been a nasty stomach virus going around the day care and all but a few kids, Charlie being one of them, caught it. Even the staff caught it so I have no one to man the center. I gave the parents that needed it a day off without using their PTO and brought Charlie to work with me. Melissa was going to skip her classes for the day but I told her I could handle it. I love how much more she's been trusting me with Charlie lately. I know how hard it was for her to do that and I don't think she'll ever know what it means to me that she has placed her trust in me.
