As soon as I see Melissa walking towards us at the park I can tell something is wrong. Her face looks pale, and she doesn't look scared, but the look on her face is off somehow. "Hey Jen, can you keep an eye on Charlie for a minute? I'm gonna go talk to Melissa quick."
"Yeah, everything okay?"
"I'm about to find out," I rush over to her and she practically throws herself into my arms burying her face in my chest. "What happened? What's wrong?"
"How can you tell something's wrong?" She tries to tease, but she still looks tense.
"Because I know you. Now what's wrong pretty girl?"
"Please don't blow your lid, just let me get the whole story out okay?"
