I head into work and grab a coffee from the staff cafeteria before I go to my floor. I didn't get to sleep until late last night and then I woke up early to surprise Gavin. He is always up early so I wanted to make sure I was actually up before him. We had talked about waking each other up like that before, just to make sure that neither of us would have a problem with it, but it was the first time I had actually had the courage to do it.
