Celina’s gaze fell on Cyric’s arm linked with Zarelle’s.
The two of them seemed to be the center of everyone’s attention.
Celina caught snippets of the conversation between Zarelle and the president of an energy company. Zarelle was comparing the pros and cons of lithium tungsten batteries with those of zinc-manganese oxide batteries.
Celina could barely follow the topic, but she did not miss the look of admiration in the president’s eyes.
*How does that woman know so much about business?* Celina thought bitterly. *She was just a housewife.*
“How does she do it?” Vivian whispered to Ruby. “First Calden, and now Cyric. I’ve heard she’s also involved with Daniel Blackclaw. What do you think the men see in her?”
