  _Calden’s POV_   I took a deep breath.   I remained where I was and did not chase after Zarelle.   If she was brave enough to admit her mistake, then so was I.   She might have schemed her way into my life, but she’d never done anything to harm me.   When I gave her the cold shoulder, I had also lost a valuable chance to get to know her.
