"Why have you been criticizing my parents from the beginning? They didn't invite you to stay, and neither did I," Isabel exclaimed, unable to contain her frustration. The disparaging remarks about her parents were more than she could bear.
Her emotions surged, and tears welled up uncontrollably.
"Oh, I see... So, I'm the one at fault for staying here. No, not me. My mom is the reason I'm here. Are you indirectly blaming her?" Mason retorted, leaving Isabel utterly speechless.
"What are you even talking about?" Isabel asked, genuinely curious.
"Don't play dumb. I'll discuss this with mom," Mason threatened.
