CHAPTER LXXVI : SARCASM OVER AN IDEAL PLAN

-Joriz-             I just listened to them as they talked about the matter between Ran and Sohel, I don’t want to cut myself in or get involved with it though I really think that Sohel started it. But that’s not what matters here. It doesn’t matter who started it, what matters is that who will finish it.             That’s more important.             They talked for a while discussing what had happened and how they would end it, while I just stood here hearing what they are talking yet I am not listening at all. whatever, who cares? It’s their own deal and not mine to handle. I’m just here if in any case happens, I can help. I still don’t understand Sohel’s attitude.             Though I see negative ones from both of them. Well, all of us has, it’s just that theirs are more noticeable than us. Although Ran is a fairy, maybe because they came from the highest tribes here, or whatever. It’s just that ran knows how to keep it and interact with other people.             Unlike Sohel… well, he’s quite a difficult person to handle which as a team, we have to deal with since we won’t work at all if there is a hole. But at least we succeeded during our first challenges. That is a nice part to begin with. As we go along the mission, Sohel is getting better anyway, and that’s a great thing.             After some time, they finished discussing about it and made up already. I just took a deep breath and stepped back a little as a relief that finally they fixed their problem already and that at least we can put our prides aside as of now and work together to pass this challenge.             It seems like Ashtan felt the same way as I do. He was silent the whole time watching them and didn’t feel to cut himself in. I just thought that this kind of argument is so childish, I know that both these guys came from the most powerful and the smartest tribe, but I don’t understand why they acted like that in front of us.             At least it’s done now. Now, we can start planning about how we would win this challenge as soon as possible. We don’t want to be stuck here forever, or at least not be able to finish this one. There were eight of us here, compared to the other team, we somehow have the advantage.             So it must be so embarrassing if the other team would make it and we won’t.             “Let me go there first to see what I can find” Astral spoke that snapped me out from my deep thoughts. I shifted my gazes from her then to everyone and it seems like they are preparing for something. Gosh, what did I miss? I just looked at them and observed so that I would understand what they are planning             “Ok… tell us what you find ok?” Ran said allowing her to go where she wanted to go. She suddenly vanished into thin air. After a few moments, I saw her in the cliff appearing out of nowhere. She must have used teleportation to get there. So that’s what she meant by going there.             Well, she’s a Loft, and they can handle such strong winds like that. I just looked at her moving around the area waiting for her to come back.             “How do you think we could get to the other end of the cliff through that?” I asked them as I kept my eyes on the dangerous cliff in front of us. I don’t want to go in there. I don’t want to risk my life in there, but obviously I have no choice but to do it, the Ordo king expects and believes that we can do it.             “I don’t know… let’s just wait and see what Astral will report to us about her findings. I’m sure we could make it” I heard Ran answering me. I sighed at the thought that none of us have any idea how to deal with the challenge. I mean, if you look at it, it really is a suicidal mission. The cliff itself screams death.             “We have Dafrosa anyway…” Ran added as his tone sounded playfully as if he’s joking or as if he’s teasing Dafrosa. But whatever, I didn’t look at them as I stared at Astral from a distance as she’s currently inspecting the whole place so that we could think about our move.             “I wish I could help…” Dafrosa answered him slowly and silently as if she’s saying that she’s useless right now. I turned to her as I sensed low self-esteem coming from her             “Of course you can… remember this is your territory, so you’re a lot stronger here” Sohel added motivating her so that she won’t lose her bravery             “Yea… you’re not alone in doing your task anyway. We’re helping each other, so there’s nothing would stop us, not even that deadly cliff of Mazabradas, or the heck I care if it’s deadly” Ran spoke agreeing with Sohel… what in the world of Azhakkstadd was that?             Did I miss something again? What happened? The transition just blew me away… why are they speaking right now as if nothing had happened a while ago. Sohel just comforted her as if he didn’t call us coward a while ago, and Ran is agreeing with him as if he didn’t punch him.             Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I would prefer them fighting, but it was fast. So fast that you won’t believe that you actually heard it. but that’s fine at least there’s nothing to worry about getting along with each other anymore. It’s good to have them agreeing with each other though, not arguing about going right through the cliff.             “Yea listen to them Daf…” I just said as I looked at her. She just smiled at me and looked at Astral’s direction             “Oh where is she now?” she asked as her eyes got bigger while pointing at the cliff. All of us immediately looked at the cliff and found no trace of Astral. I waited for a few seconds to see if she just went down or not. But several seconds had passed and she haven’t shown herself yet. I felt worried about her. What happened to her and where could she be?             “Should we go there and look for her?” Ashtan asked as he stepped forward hesitantly. Obviously he doesn’t want to go there either. We’re still not sure, you know Astral, she’s also fond of doing pranks.             “Can you go after her?” Sohel asked him back sarcastically. What the heck! He then chuckled and posed a peace sign in front of him. If I were Ashtan, I would strike him with lighting immediately. What’s wrong with him? Ashtan’s asking nicely. I know he has a point but he could have just say it nicely.             Ashtan just smiled back at him, yet I know that smile. I can’t blame him if that smile looked so sarcastic as well.             “At least I thought about it before I did ahahahaha” Ashtan answered him and faked a loud laughter. Now, that’s more like it… suits him better! His sarcasm needs a clap back to slap his face with it ahahaha             “I don’t know… let me check” Ran answered as he closed his eyes. I don’t know what he’s doing but I’m sure he’s doing something to look for Astral. That’s an answer I’ve been talking about.             After a few seconds, Astral appeared in front of us making Ran open his eyes. As she came, there’s a beautiful smile in her lips implying that she has a good news with her. Her mood feels so light that telling me that she has something nice to say             “What’s with that smile?” I asked the moment she walked towards us. She’s smiling widely as if she’s happy though she knows that we have to go through that deadly cliff             “I found something and you won’t believe what it was” she answered without putting off her smile. In fact, it’s making me feel strange and awkward, I mean… she’s so weird, I felt cringe all over me.             “What is it?” Thresh asked again as he walked closer to us. Everyone stepped closer to her so that we can all start discussing our plans. I walked near her and stood next to her so I can see everyone else             “I went down a little to check the whole place, and I notice that the wind currents in that area isn’t that strong compared up here” she started explaining what she found in there causing her to smile like that             “So what’s with that? Didn’t change that fact that it’s dangerous” Sohel commented in sarcastic again. What the heck’s wrong with him, I could just poison him right now if he won’t stop             “But at least it decreases our chances of dying…” Astral answered him back. The tension in our team is really noticeable, all because of Sohel. We’re just getting along with him to avoid trouble “That means we can go to the other end without going off and going out of the cliff… and also without jumping recklessly” she added eyeing on Sohel             “So how are we going to do it then?” Sohel asking him in a sarcastic tone as if he’s not convinced that that information is useful. He asked as if Astral’s plan would be a failure.             “Well, I made a plan before you could ever complain” Astral said directly slapping Sohel with her words as she looked at him strongly and doesn’t seem to be intimidated by Sohel             “Tell us…” Ran interrupted them asking Astral her plan “So that we could get to it immediately” he stepped closer to Astral blocking off Sohel from him. He’s so precautious thinking that Astral and Sohel would fight right after them. It’s Sohel’s fault, he’s so contentious. I don’t know if he’s doing it on purpose or what.             “Ok… so here’s my plan. If someone doesn’t want to go with my plan, he better have his own or he should prepare himself to be left here” she started as she insinuated something but obviously it’s for Sohel. He just shrugged his shoulder and smirked.             “My plan is that we should all go down there so that we could get to the other end of the cliff” she said telling it to us             “That’s your plan? Tss..” Sohel spoke cutting himself in once more             “I’m not done yet” Astral said firmly as if intimidating Sohel yet he just hissed and rolled his eyes             “Cut it off Sohel, let her finish” Thresh said as he pulled Sohel far from Astral             “Let go” Sohel said shoving Thresh’s hands away from him             “Whatever” Thresh said pulling his hand from him and stepped back to cover him from Astral so that he would stop bothering her already             “I need Dafrosa…” she initiated once more a she looked at her “I will bring you there first, so that you could create a tunnel where we will take, after doing it, I’ll bring everyone there… ok?” she said briefly explaining her plan             “Wait… I don’t understand. Elaborate please?” Dafrosa said as she prevented Astral from grabbing her             “I’ll tell you down there, let’s keep it low key from someone who doesn’t want to believe that my plan is effective” she said as she grabbed her once more and vanished into thin air.             There was an awkward silence between us all here. None of us wanted to talk, Ran just sat on the ground with Thresh, Ashtan and Cymone. I went to a rock nearby and laid down leaning on it, while Sohel is left there sitting alone quite far from the four. Whatever, at least he’s not doing something that we don’t like.             I wonder why he got that attitude…             We waited for minutes for the girls to finish their task. I heard they’re making a tunnel, that’s going to be a long tunnel that they’re making, I’m sure it would take them such a long time doing that. Plus, doing a tunnel under this cliff would cause this cliff to be destroyed.             I mean, if they’re not going to do it properly…
