Chapter Seven An Outing Saturday morning, while Sigrid and Caile showered, Peter brewed coffee and prepared a light breakfast. When his slaves emerged, he said, “I have a surprise for you.” “A surprise?” said Caile. “You know how much I love surprises!” “I got to thinking about what you said about us never going out to eat. So today we are going out for lunch,” Peter replied. “Pardon me, Master, for stating the obvious,” Sigrid began, “but I came here only in my overcoat. I’ll wear it all during the munch today. The Tannery can be chilly this time of year anyway.
