Ava's eyes winter as she walks past the bodyguards, masked in a black suit with dark glass eyes. Glances round as she adjusts her cat mask properly while strode inside the building.

Please “she said, picking up a glass of wine from the waiters, snipping a little while she thought of a way forward to steal the Blackwood necklace, a heritage necklace, with its great history.

Let the party start. I'm the host for this event. My name is Caleb Flynn“, the host said.

Ava glances around as she sees everyone happy and excited over the event , her eyes upstairs, the family's private quarters beckoning, a smile falls out of her face.

The event continues display , everyone moves into the stage with their partners as the music sound starts playing .

Avan smiles, stares upstairs again for the tenth time as she heads closer to the stairs when a young waiter caught her attention as he stares at her in suspicion while he carries his stray of wine with him. His face fixed on her body language, she shifted a little, pretending to touch her phone while she eyed him on one side, waiting for the best time to attack.

Please, I need your help. One of his colleagues calls him. He follows from behind while he stares at her as he goes away.

Her best moment had arrived. She looks around before she walks upstairs, but immediately she reaches the fourth step. A huge voice speaks closer to her, she turns and notices it is the sound system near her.

This is the time the main events have begun, everyone please sit “, the host ordered.

Everyone sat down waiting for it to finally start. Ava panicked as she shifted at the back of the steps , hiding quickly while everyone sat down.

What will I do? “ She whispered to herself, knowing she had to plan out well.

It's reached 10 minutes, her legs tremble in pain as she had been down for some minutes, she gets up to ease herself.

Yes it seems, the showcase for the necklaces will begin soon “, a lady in her British gown said to her friend.

Yes exactly, and it's upstairs“ her friend responded.

Ava in the toilet

Her ear was dropping what they said, this was going to be quite easy for her. She waited for them to leave as she rushed outside the toilet while she fixed her mask properly.

Keeps calm as she sees four young guys, walks across her as they wait for someone, she keeps on observing what could be the drama.

The remaining person comes in to join them as the head upstairs. Ava uses the opportunity to climb stairs while she hides at the back, making it difficult for people to see her.

They rushed to the locker room. One of them lifted his hands as he pressed a code. The door opened as the head inside the room.

Ava mastered the code, she hid at the side of the door as she waited for them to leave. For some minutes, they were held outside carrying a long trunk covered with some expensive necklaces, and long thick garments covering the entrances of the trunk, making it difficult to see inside of it.

They look around before heading to their destination. Ava sighs relief as she rushes to the door, pressing the code on the door. It opens, making a cracking sound. She gently pushes it in front as it opens widely.

Enter the room. Her mouth jammed as she stares at a millionaire's worth of gold necklaces of different shades, being surprised as she dozes off for a minute.

The door opened, she rushed, hiding in the room, making it invisible to notice.

Two men walk in, in black suits with a black bag, as they pack some of the necklaces.

An old shoe near her touches her leg, she screams a little, holding her mouth from screaming again. The men glanced round the room in surprise. They find a notice. They held out of the room.

Ava gets relief from being almost caught. She gets out of her hiding, heads towards the glass showcase containing different necklaces, she keeps on finding the black hood necklace.

Oh finallysee it!!“ she said. Grateful collects it with her two hands, while she puts it inside her handbag and balances it well before heading out of the room.

She looked around, put on her mask as she stood downstairs. A hand held her shoulder, she trembled as she stared at the person while she turned.

What do you think you are doing? “ A 21-year-old man said, raising his eyebrows while he glanced at her.

Oh ! I..I..” she said smiling.

You know what, bring it out now or else I will call my Dad Security for you“ he commanded.

Logan pierce POV

Heading towards my room, after a long day of waiting and watching the event for fun, something becomes fishy as the secret room door is left open,

Who does that? “ I said to myself as I headed to the corner of the door. Spy funny enough, I saw a young lady rushing to carry our black hood necklace inside her bag while she stared around.

I can explain”, Ava pleaded with her two hands.

Come with me“ he said, rushing fast towards her, while she hid her face while they strode fast, groups of men walked past them.

Come inside“ he said, coming into my room. She glanced at him for the second time before agreeing to enter the room. It was filled with some good taste of budding, most of the walls were filled with artwork, while near his bed was a table full of architectural works with papers attached to it.

At the side of the bathroom was a well-used guitar.

Why did you steal it? “ He asked. She recounted how her ancestors suffered making the necklace and making the end, it was forcefully sold due to financial status. She had to steal it to sell it and pay for her bail after being accused of stealing from the black hood family. Her grandfather had once told her the story.

I have my personal reason “own Ava said, refusing to tell him the real truth about it.
