Trinity's Love

War

Jack had just come by her office letting her know that the males were leaving.

 Andrew kissed her, “If you need anything just let me know.”

She could tell that he was worried when she told him that she was going to go for a run, “I will keep in contact with you. If there is an emergency I’ll mindlink you okay?”

 Andrew nodded and kissed her again before he left in Rob’s truck. As she watched the truck leave she smiled, she loved that her brother had left his truck in case she wanted to drive back to her house after her run. Taking off her clothes and placing them in Jack's truck she transformed into her leopard form. She shook herself as the cool air hit her face. It had been a while since she had transformed. With everything going on for the last few months she didn’t have the opportunity to be able to go for a run. She looked around her surroundings and headed towards the forest behind the station. Another burst of wind flew past her face and she caught a foreign scent on the breeze. She turned to the direction of the wind and found that the scent was coming from the forest beside her, her hackles rose as she became alert. Walking toward the forest she entered to find an area of large rocks, she walked over the walks and froze as she heard a rough laugh rumbled throughout the woods "I've finally found you." Trinity's looked around to try and find the voice, she lowered herself against the rocks as her heart thudded in her chest. She froze as she saw the figure enter the clearing, "Let me introduce myself I'm Cale Livingston." Only two thoughts went through her head. The first thought was a single word, f**k. The second thought, she really regretted not having her backup.

Andy pierced into her mind, ‘Hey, kitten, where are you at you haven’t checked in with anyone after we left. You were only supposed to go on a short run and head back to the house.’

‘Andrew this is a bad time right now.’ She felt his alarm when she used his name. Damnit in the last few months she never used his full name.

‘Why, what's wrong Trinity?’

She tried to make her tone seem calm and nonchalant, ‘Nothing just running.’

‘No, I know your voice you're scared and panicked. What's wrong?’

She could tell that he was letting the other’s know something was wrong, ‘I’m just running, damn it!’ Well s**t, that was going to make things worse. She was trying to focus on the figure in front of her and talk to Andy at the same time. She heard Andy’s growl in her mind.

‘I coming to you.’

She was going to scream no but he had blocked her. Damnit if she had let him mark her he wouldn’t be able to do that. She saw her Cale slowly walking towards her, she slowly backed away as well as she could on rocks.

Cale grinned as he watched her back away, "You are going pay for your mother's mistake."

Trinity growled showing as many teeth as she could. She may be scared but she was not about to back down from this maniac. She forced her telepathy to be able to speak into his mind, ‘I’d like to see you try.”

He laughed and raised a gun, “Gladly.”

Her eye’s widened and she yelped as her back foot hit the trunk of a tree. She looked around wildly and lowered her self and growled at the man in front of her. She was not about to show any weakness to this man.

Cale smiled seeing her not trapped, "I know all your weaknesses, but I want to play with you for a bit."

Trinity snarled, ‘Let’s.’

He ran at Trinity, she lowered herself and once he was close enough she jumped over his head. She thought she had made it until she felt a stab of pain on her left rear leg. She looked down at her leg and found a large gash in her thigh. She looked back up to find Cale with a knife in hand. She let out a rough growl.

"Oh sorry did that hurt?" There was a hint of laughter behind the words.

‘It's fine I'll heal.’

Cale laughed, "Yes but you know what's funny, you’re alien, human and genetically engineered to be a wer-leopard your healing takes longer. You would think your healing would be faster, but to my advantage, it's not."

He was right it did take longer for her to heal due to all of the DNA, this was not going to work in her favor at all. She heard a shot ring out. She winced as pain shot through her other leg. She tried to hold herself up as both other her rear legs were wounded.

Cale saw her waver in her stance, "Oh don't worry it's not silver or poison. It's just going to slow you down."

She needed help. Andy was on his way but she didn’t know when he would get here. She could mindlink Allison she would hopefully be close still. ‘Allison answer…answer…answer damn it.’

‘Yes, Trin.’

She groaned as another wave of pain shot through her legs, ‘Hurry he's here. Andy's coming but I don’t know when he will get here. I need back up now. Hurry.’

‘I'm on my way.’

‘Thank you.’ She breathed out a sigh. She felt a tingle in her mind and she smiled.

‘I’m at the station, the boys are only a few seconds behind me. Where are you?’

Trinity sighed in relief, ‘I don't know.’ Another shot rang and she felt her sag as her leg collapsed under her, she now had two rounds in the same leg. ‘I can't walk.’ She wined. She wasn’t going to see anyone again. Cale was going to kill her before she got the chance to mate Andrew.

‘Where are you?’

‘In a clearing. I was in the forest beside the station, I’m not sure how far we have moved since being in here.’

‘What was that shot, Trinity?’

‘You should be able to follow the sound of the last shot. It was a silver bullet this time. It seems as if he is done playing.’

‘Hold on a little longer I can hear the boys behind me.’

Trinity felt her bones crunch as her body unwillingly changed back into her human form. Her leopard was so weak and her body knew it. She saw a blurry image of Cale above her and she let out a whine.

Cale smiled and pointed the gun at her heart, "Now I'm going to end this now."

Trinity let out a sigh and then heard a growl and a brown blur strick across her. She smiled Andrew was here. She watched as he attacked Cale ripping the gun out of his and getting in a few deep wounds before Cale teleported. "Andy," Trinity whispered.

Andrew rushed over to her in his jaguar form, ‘Oh god Trinity." He looked over her whole body seeing blood everywhere.

Trinity felt her body shudder, “I need you to get them out.”

‘Get what out?’

"The two bullets."

He nodded and transformed back into his human form not caring about his nudity. He moved towards her body and found the leg where the bullets were, "If I do this here it’s going to be dirty and it’s going to hurt without medications."

Trinity nodded, “I understand.” She saw the others rush towards her she smiled and then screamed as Andy dug the bullets out of her leg. It took all her will to stay conscious. When she heard Andrew curse and move away from her she went limp. She smiled as she saw faces enter her vision, “Hey everyone.” She sounded so weak to herself.

"Don't talk!" Andrew commanded.

Trinity let out a soft laugh, "Hope you're not disappointed but Andrew beat you to Cale."

"I said don't talk damn it!"

Trinity saw Andrew’s face enter her vision and all she could do was smile even though his face was filled with anger but his eyes shone with concern and fear. She lifted her hand slowly and rested in on his cheek, she watched as he whimpered and leaned into her hand. She smiled as she watched him force himself to look over to the others.

"Do you have any bandages?" Andrew asked.

Allison pushed a bag at him, "Yes. I wasn’t sure what all we would need. I also have first aid clean products in there as well. You should have suture and things to aid in the bleeding."

Andrew looked back down at Trinity, "This is gonna hurt like hell kitten."

Trinity nodded, "You owe me something before."

"What's that?"

"A kiss"

He smiled and leaned down and kissed her on the lips, then looked into her eyes. "Why did you fight him before I came?"

Trinity sighed, "I don’t think he would have given me much of a choice. I also didn't want you hurt."

Andrew sighed and closed his eyes, "And you think I want to see you hurt."

"No, but I would rather it be me than you." Trinity gave him a little smile. Then she slowly nodded to tell him to go ahead with the first aid. Andrew gathered everything he would need and placed it by her leg. She heard he take a deep breath and the next thing she knew she felt like her leg was on fire. She tried to hold in her scream but was unsuccessful.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry baby." He muttered.

She gave him a loving smile as he continued to clean and try to stop the bleeding.

"Baby you lost to much blood, why aren't you healing?" Andrew asked, now panicked.

"My alien and leopard are working against each other so it takes…" she took a breath and winced "…takes longer to heal." Jack kneeled beside her and gently moved the bloody hair from her face. She looked up and saw sad, worry-filled eyes. "I'll be fine."
