I got the coffee in record time. Ten minutes. As I start my short walk back to the office, I wonder what was happening to the world today. First, there was no traffic and now the line at the café was short. Or maybe luck was once again on my side. It had abandoned me long enough. My phone buzzed and I fish it out “Hey” Elizabeth says the moment I pick up “I missed you this morning”
“My new job description says I should be somewhere by six a.m.” I sigh defeated and she laughs
“Well, that is the work experience you were so desperate to have”
“I can understand why you would think it was better to work for yourself”
