His Abused Mate

Chapter 7

And with that, he left, leaving me dumbfounded. I closed the door and decided to take a shower. When I looked in the mirror and saw the mark, a series of emotions flooded over me. I was angry, I was sad and I felt betrayed. Being marked by a mate is supposed to be special but instead, it was forced because he was scared. I can understand why he did it but I am upset that he actually went through with it. He better watch out, because I am going to get him back for what he did to me. 

After my shower, I noticed that my clock said 4:00 am. f**k I had to wake up in 5 hours because Lucy wanted to show me where she stays when she isn't serving me. I set my alarm and was about to fall asleep when I heard my door open again. I was way too tired to move or care. Then I felt arms go around me but I wasn't sure if it was real or not as I drifted into sleep. 

Once again, my mother, the moon goddess visited me in my dreams. 

"There you are, my child. I was wondering when you were going to come, but I know that you were caught up with other things." 

That's when I finally broke. I rushed into her arms and she held me, letting me cry. After I settled down she let go. 

"I know what you went through was rough Elizabeth, but it will only make you stronger. I agree that Ky had no right to mark you but it was meant to happen. It's all part of your destiny."

"What if I don't care about my destiny. I just want a normal life, with a loving mate and pups to call our own."

"I understand that Elizabeth, and that will happen, but you have to get through all the stuff before it. In order to do that you need to learn how to control your powers. Now try and move the pebble again but this time pick up another one at the same time."

I followed her instructions. We practice for a long time. She taught me to move several things with my mind at once and how to use the elements around me to my advantage. She also taught me how to heighten the normal abilities of a werewolf. 

"You are a natural at controlling your powers my dear. However, it is important for you not to use your powers until the right time. You will have to go through more pain and torture but you have to endure it. It will be hard but I know you are strong enough. Now you must go because you are being woken up."

And with that, the next thing I knew was that I was being woken up by Ky. 

"Beth are you okay?" he said as I was opening my eyes. 

"Yes, why?"

"You were screaming in your sleep. You kept saying Moon Goddess."

"Oh."

"Oh? What were you dreaming about? Did she come and visit you?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Beth, stop hiding it from me. I know who you are."

"Okay Mr.Hotshot, who am I?"

"You are the daughter of the Moon Goddess?"

"What makes you think that."

"After I saw your wolf in the woods, I became curious. No normal wolf looks like that. I remembered my father telling me of rare wolfs one time so I looked in my office and found a history book. I finally found a picture that matched what you look like then you turn. As I read, there was a prophecy. It said that the daughter of the Mood Goddess would come in the form of a baby and grow up like other wolves. It said that one day she would save her kind. However, it didn't say from what."

I looked at him but didn't say anything for a while and he waited patiently for my answer. 

"Okay you pretty much got all of it without all the details of my life but that's not important."

"You aren't of Alpha Blood. You are so much more, " he said with admiration in his eyes. 

"Yes, it's true that I am the daughter of the Moon Goddess but you must not tell anyone. She told me that there are people here that we can't trust with this secret."

"I won't say anything but why didn't you tell me this still before?"

"I didn't know for sure if I could trust you because of all the mixed signals that you were giving me. I wanted to wait but then you marked me and I was so angry that I didn't want to tell you anymore. Plus, you have your own secrets which you think I don't know about but I do."

"How?" 

"I am the daughter of the Moon Goddess remember? I have my ways."

I used that excuse because I didn't want to get Lucy in trouble for telling me anything. Luckily he bought it. 

"Okay, so what do you know about me?"

"I know about your past. I know that your mom left you and your father for another wolf. I know that she didn't want to be Luna. I also know how your father treated you after she left. He tried to comfort you but after a while he just got angry and he took it out on you. I don't know what he did to you but I know that it changed you. I think that's why you marked me. You were afraid that I was going to do the same thing."

"Dang okay, you know more that I thought.  You're right. My mom did leave and it affected my dad and me. I am afraid that you will leave me which is why I am afraid to get too close. It's why I have treated you badly. My father used to treat me that way after my mom left. I am afraid to love you."

"Ky, you can't just assume I am going to do the same thing to you that your mother did to your father. We are mates and we always will be. You have to give me the chance to show that to you."

All of a sudden I was hit will the worst pain I have ever felt. It hurt worse than being r***d or being abused by my brother. 

"Ky!" I screamed. 

He gathered me up in his arms and held me close. 

"It's okay baby, I have you."

Then I hear my wolf Ari speak to me. 

" Elizabeth, you are in heat. Tell Ky and he will know what to do."

What the f**k is that?

"Ky, what is being in heat?"

He looked at me confused and then it was like he understood something that I didn't. 

"Beth you are in heat. That explains why you are feeling this way. It happens after you have been marked by your mate."

"How do I stop it?"

"We have to mate."
