Both my wife and daughter stiffened when they heard my voice. I had concealed my emotions as I walked further into the, both of them turns around to face me.
"So, what was that you were saying Princess?" I asked with a straight face trying hard not to laugh at their expression. They were looking at me with a gob smacked expression on their face.
"Nothing daddy" says my daughter shaking her head vigorously.
"Well, it did not look like nothing, isn't it Ana?" I ask with a smirk.
"No, nothing Dominic. We were just speaking about her lessons for today with the governess" she very smartly tries to steer the topic but I knew better.
"Is that so?" I ask with a sideway glance.
