The moment I touched her forehead, I moved back in shock as she was burning due to fever or something else, I was not sure but I had an inkling.
"Mom she is burning" I exclaimed panic.
"Calm down son. We will get this through" mom pats me on the shoulder.
"I have asked the maid to call the doctor" dad informs me as I keep patting Anabelle on her cheeks. She is someone who always looked after me even though at times I have been rude.
The doctor arrives and checks her.
He sees the vampire mark and gives me a look.
"Your highness, I am sure you know the consequences of marking a human" he states.
"But that does not mean he cannot, as he is partially a human first" interjected mom with her tone which she uses while being a queen.
