Prince Dominic POV
I stirred awake after few hours as I felt a slight tickle on my cheek. My brows furrowed when I tried to snap it away. That’s when I hear a giggle. I open my eyes to find myself staring into Anabelle’s familiar ones.
“You are awake” I breathed.
“I am” she says.
Moving forward, I hug her as I could not stop myself any longer. I just enjoyed the feel of her in my arms after such a long period of time. Moving back, I palm her cheeks and stare at her with tender look in my eyes.
“Are you alright, my love?”
Placing her palm on mine, she kisses in the middle of it and nods her head with sheen of tears shining in her eyes “I am okay now” she says ask she leans on to me.
Tremor rocked through my body as I felt her cry at the separation we felt.
