There was a collective gasp in the room. All three of them looked shocked with their eyes wide into panic.
Mom was the first one to recover and walk near me but I take a step back.
She had a helpless look on her face.
“what were you guys speaking about before I came?” I ask with a betrayed look on my face.
Dad and Dominic were standing still in shock. They did not know how to react.
“mom, you lied to me” I state in a hurtful voice.
With a choked voice, mom tries to come near me when I stop her
