Full Moon Part 2

I should've known, that Jax would only save me from the ritual that was in public, but would he save me now? I shouldn't feel relieved first. I should have been feeling tense and thinking of ways to avoid this, but it was too late. It started when I entered the room. Several servants have stood inside to greet me. They immediately led me to the bathroom and replaced my clothes with a white silk nightgown. They also style my hair by patting it, make-up, everything. When I asked what this was all about, one of the servants answered, "This is an order from Alpha, Miss Gween. He wants you to be ready when she returns later" I thinned my lips and didn't say anything. After saying that, the servants immediately excused themselves from leaving me alone in the room and accompanied by a tense night of silence. Then here I was, sitting in one of the windows that showed the darkness of the night. The full moon is so beautiful and elegant it looks so clear. Stars studded around it became friends for the moon alone in the sky. This is what I like about this place. I can see the beauty of the sky without being blocked by lights or skyscrapers. Unlike New York City, I rarely can see the sky like this. Every time I try to see, it is obstructed by the lights and tall buildings. I put my head in the glass and close my eyes. I feel like I'm giving up and getting tired. The door to my room opened and my eyes opened wide. I immediately turned to the door and saw Edmund walking inside. Forehead wrinkles adorn his face and his lips form a thin line. "What's up, Ed?" "Nickolas will be back soon" "Then?" "You want to do this Gween?" Edmund asked, raising an eyebrow. He folded his arms and raised an eyebrow. "I can make Maggie as an excuse" Instantly I remembered that Edmund returned from New York with Maggie. My eyes widened when I remember that, it seems like the full moon night makes me forget important things like this. "Edmund I want ---" My sentence stopped when I heard the door open again and the familiar aura hit me so strongly. I turned back to the door behind Edmund and saw Nickolas standing there only in the white pants he was wearing, while the shirt he was wearing had disappeared somewhere. Edmund turned and bowed respectfully. "What are you doing here General?" Nickolas asked in a flat voice. Edmund straightened up and answered, "I ----" "Get out" cut Nickolas quickly. Edmund threw a look of dislike towards Nickolas and walked out of the room. I could see Edmund looking at me worriedly before the room's door closed with a loud slam. "Nick ---" "Gween, come here," Nickolas said. He sat on the edge of the bed with an intimidating posture. I got up from my sitting position at the window and walked over to Nickolas. My legs trembled and my heart beat fast. His eyes looked at me so closely and sharply. He seemed to love me and could read my movements easily. His body looks so tense. Nickolas is the definition of perfection. Nothing made him look bad, even the scars from the war that adorned his body added to his own impression. I don't know whether I should be grateful or not. Nickolas stretched out his hand and I accepted it trembling. He pulled me so tight that I sat down on his lap. Nickolas immediately buried his nose in my hair and inhaled the scent repeatedly. His eyes were closed and one hand moved around my waist. "You're perfect, Gween. Perfect for me and you are mine," said Nickolas in a hoarse voice. I'm just speechless. Too busy regulating my heart rate and also my breathing which works twice as fast. My hand gripped Nickolas's shoulder so tightly that my nails stuck in his skin. Nickolas let out a happy snore from his chest. Nickolas moved his face away from me and looked at me with a look that was difficult to decipher. "tonight I will claim you as mine" "Nick ----" "And no one is preventing me from doing it," Nickolas growled. His hand moved stroking my waist and slowly descended to my exposed thigh. I closed my eyes when I felt his hand touch my skin. Conducting millions of electricity to flow into my body. I gasped in response to this strange sensation. Nickolas growled and placed his hand on my back. And one hand is behind my head. He brought his face close to me and when his lips touched me, my straight body relaxed immediately. Tok Tok Tok Nickolas growled and ignored the sound of knocking on the door. "Nickolas, please don't do this," I asked quietly. Nickolas ignored me and looked for a position he thought was comfortable. Tok Tok Tok The knock on the door intensified until Nickolas growled in anger at not liking his session being disturbed. Nickolas grabbed my neck with one hand and the other hand grabbed my thigh. I closed my eyes and one thing crossed my mind. This is the only way for me. With three counts, I swung my legs and kicked Nickolas. Nickolas was shock and my attack hit his stomach. He fell while groaning in pain. Instantly I got up and ran away, but it was all in vain when Nickolas pulled my hair tight, then slammed my body to the floor. I cried and winced as my head hit the wall. "Don't ever run away from me Gween" "Nick, please don't do it ----" "I'll make it fast and not hurt. Believe me," he muttered in a soft voice that was so fake. Nickolas lifted my body and threw me back on the bed. After that he turned my body until my position facedown. I sobbed as his hand grabbed my waist and forced me. "Nickolas ----" I murmured in a hoarse voice. Before Nickolas could respond, the door to the room was broken open until I shouted in surprise. Nickolas growled angrily, but it didn't last long when a dart stuck in his shoulder. It didn't take long for Nickolas to fall unconscious on the floor. I quickly wrapped my body in a blanket. My eyes looked at who made Nickolas faint and found Edmund grinning broadly towards me. A sigh of relief came from my lips. "You all know what to do right?" four warriors who entered the room when my body was covered with a blanket immediately nodded my head and carried Nickolas away. Not long after they left, a woman who was very familiar and so I missed running past Edmund and hugging my body so tightly. "Oh Gween," she muttered in a trembling voice when she saw my disorganized state. I sobbed and returned the hug Maggie with no less tight. It felt like we were hugging for so long, but in reality only a few minutes. Maggie put her body away and cupped my face with her hands. "Are you ok?" "I have no idea" "Is Nickolas already ----" I shook my head slowly and Maggie breathed with relief. "Thank God," I nodded and tried to find comfort in Maggie's body. "I feel bad Mag" I muttered, sobbing softly. "Why do you say that Gween?" "I --- I feel like I am enjoying what he is doing and I almost voluntarily gave away my treasure. All my common sense just disappeared and what I wanted was Nickolas's body. I forgot that he had intentions and after what he did to me --- " "It's natural, he's your soulmate," Edmund murmured softly. He walked over and put his hand on Maggie's shoulder. "You can't blame your body. It's an instinct that a soulmate will feel when his body is touched by her partner" I nodded my head. Maggie  rose from the bed and asked, "do you want to sleep with me? We have to talk a lot" I nodded and followed Edmund. "Edmund, will Nick be in the basement?" Edmund nodded. His face looks sad and full of guilty feelings. "How long?" "Three days," my lips thinned at Edmund's brief reply. Worry slowly appeared in the recesses of my heart. Nickolas however is my soulmate and will always be like that. The thought of being hurt or feeling pain makes my heart feel like it's being squeezed. Even though he has bad intentions towards me, I will still care for him. If not as his soulmate, then I would care about him as a fellow living being. "Will he be okay?" I asked slowly. Edmund sighed and nodded his head slowly. "He will be fine, you know that we can heal ourselves twice as fast as humans. So you don't need to worry." "What about your investigation?" I asked softly. Maggie stroked my back slowly trying to channel her support through gestures that she did and I feel grateful to have friends like Maggie. Edmund just silent and shook his head. I don't know whether to feel sad or angry over this situation. "So you want to sleep in my room, Gween?" Maggie asked, changing the subject. I nodded and rose from the bed. For the last time I looked at the room, after that I went out with Edmund and Maggie. *** "Magg, how's Lily?" that was the question that came out of my mouth the first time I entered the room where Maggie stay. I thought Maggie would live in the main castle or Pack guest House, but in reality she lives in Edmund's private residence. I once thought that Edmund and the others lived in the main castle or Pack House, but apparently they have a private home like Nickolas, but why don't they ever take me to their private homes? I'm curious. Especially with Joshua's private home. Judging from Joshua's nature like that, I'm sure his taste will not disappoint either. Edmund returned to the main castle to make sure Nickolas was okay and convinced myself that Nickolas was still unconscious. So here we are, just the two of us in the house - uh, I mean this big mansion. Maggie frowned and looked at me irritably. "Is that what you asked me Gween? Not 'how are you?' or 'I miss you', but instead you ask about your cat? " I shrugged and answered, "what can I do? She's my baby and you know that" Maggie rolled her eyes and clicked in annoyance. She left the room for a few moments and returned carrying the bundle of fur that I missed so much. "Lily!!!" my beloved cat who was initially asleep, immediately woke up to hear my screams. I immediately got up from my position and approached Lily who looked at me with sleepy eyes. I immediately snatched her from Maggie's hands and without thinking twice immediately hugged her so tightly. "Oh my baby ... I miss you so much" I muttered softly. Meow Lily meowed and yawned again. I stroked her head and she snored happily. While making sure Lily was fine and healthy, I walked over to the sofa placed in the room and sat on it. I smiled and invited Lily to talk. Of course Lily only responds to me by meowing and snoring. "Well, looks like you forgot one thing," mutteredd Maggie irritably. I immediately looked up and looked at her with a shy look. I give her a big grin and mumble, "Thank you" "Luckily I'm not allergic to cats, you know during the flight here, I could see the enmity between Edmund and Lily" I bit my lip and tried not to laugh at Maggie's speech. "What do you mean?" Maggie sighed and flung her body beside me. She closed her eyes tightly. "During the flight I could hear both Edmund and Lily hissing. Sometimes they exchanged sharp gazes." "Well what do you expect? They have primitive instincts and you know that cats are enemies of dogs" Maggie opened her eyes and looked at me with a look of disbelief. "What? I only tell the facts." "Wolves and dogs are different," Maggie said flatly. I shrugged, "to me it's the same. They are both barking and sniffing" the door burst open and Edmund gave me a sharp look. Lily, who was relaxing on my lap, immediately raised her head and hissed. "We're different," Edmund said, flatly responding to my sentence just now. He walked in, but not far from the door because he saw the creature in my lap. Lily longed and growled. Edmund glared and said, "Get rid of that creature in front of me" "Hey! She's my baby!" "I don't care!" Maggie just laughed at our fight.
