Nickolas immediately stood up from his section chair and without saying anything, stepped out of the dining room. Followed by Jax and Gabriel.
I watched his straight back and heaved loudly. My eyes turned from the closed door to Joshua, who had just finished eating. "What are you up to, Josh?" I asked without further ado.
Josh immediately pushed the empty plate to his right and reached for the water glass. He drank slowly as if he was buying time to answer my question I clicked annoyed and threw my napkin on the table. "what are you up to?" I asked, staring at everyone present at the dinner table one by one.
Alastair and Malcolm exchanged glances, while Edmund chose to remain silent. I snorted and folded my arms over my chest, "you don't plan to say anything to me right?"
