They loaded Ethan into their car and drove back home.
As they arrived at Ruby's apartment, Stephan was surprised at the kind of neighbourhood Ruby lived in. For some reason, he assumed she would live in a fancy house or penthouse. Instead, her apartment complex was small and modest, surrounded by other low-rise buildings.
"I didn't know you lived in this area," Stephan remarked as he helped carry Ethan's things from the car.
