Chapter 10 - Story Time

Waking the next morning with Gavin’s arm draped over her. Remembering the time, they spent together yesterday. Maylyn is ready to do whatever she needs to be with him. Stretching and getting out of the bed. Thankful she is still in her dress. Leaving the room and walking down to hers.

Arriving at her bedroom, opening the door, so ready to shower. Closing the door and seeing Tabitha lying on the bed. “Tabitha?”

She sits up, “Maylyn.”

Her face stained with tears, “Tabitha what’s wrong?”

Walking over to her and hugging her, feeling Tabitha’s body give out, fall on her, and the tears fall like huge rain drops on the water. Wrapping her arms around her and letting her cry what sounds like her soul.

After about 30 minutes, Maylyn and Tabitha are lying on the bed looking at the ceiling. Tabitha has yet to disclose the reason for the tears and she isn’t going to force her. Tabitha’s tears remind her of how she cried when Randy rejected her. Her heart was so broken, and life seemed to be over. Never did she think she would get a second chance, and a second chance with someone as amazing as Gavin.

“When I was 18, I found my mate.”

Tabitha glances at her and sniffles. Maylyn smiles, “I had known him all my life. He was one of my closest friends and knew my past. He is a dom.”

Sighing feeling pain for what she is about to confess. “My dad was a dom and one day he and my mother went to far.” 

Drying a tear that falls on her cheek, “I just remember coming home from school, running to the hospital and seeing my mom unconscious and my dad shaking her head. The doctor came in, said something I didn’t understand, my dad killed himself.”

“May.”

“Well, when my mom woke up and realized my dad was de- gone, she did the same. So, when my mate wanted me to-” Shaking her head, “I couldn’t. I cried and- well I’m still a virgin. He left and I didn’t see him for days. He came back to reject me and left again. I haven’t heard my wolf since.”

“May, I’m sorry. What loss. I don’t even know what to say, what I would do. You’re so strong.”

Sniffling, “It sucked for a long time. I won’t lie. I wished to die quite a few times. My Luna always stopped me and was around. She kept me alive, if I can only be half of what she is to me, I’ll be a good Luna.”

Looking at Tabitha, “What’s your story?”

She sighs, “Trent is my mate.” 

“What? Trent?” This is so shocking but settling into those words. Trent didn’t seem like he was out looking for hoes.

Tabitha nods, “Yeah, we found each other a while ago. We’ve known each other for a long time. But… he’s, he’s, I don’t know? Not ready? I’ve asked him to reject me. He tells me- that he needs me and wants me but he won’t-”

She sits up and shakes her head, this takes Maylyn off a bit. “He comes hugs and kisses me, telling me all these things, but nothing. He stops everything. I don’t know what he wants but it can’t be me. I don’t know why he treats me this way.”

Maylyn takes her hand and she lays back, “Men suck Tab.”

“They do! They really do May.” They laugh together.

The day was spent laughing, crying and eating with Tabitha.

Tabitha walks down the stairs after a full girl day. Trent is sitting on the sofa in the main room. Knowing her mood changed at his scent, but this time around, it wasn’t annoyed or sad. Her mood is even, flat and not feeling the love.

He stands and turns to face her. “Are you alright?”

“Yes. How may I help you my lord?”

His eyes seem to examine her before popping wide and he wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him. His hands moving to hold her face and looking into her eyes. She can clearly see he is worried or fear; “You’re leaving me.”

Pulling back, but still within his arms. Her first thought is to reassure him, but now, she isn’t sure that’s what she wants to do. “I don’t know my lord. I- I will take my leave now.”

The sadness in his eyes is hard to ignore. “You know I hate when you call me that Tabitha. You are my mate.”

She presses her lips together and she steps out of his arms. Bowing and turning to leave; ‘Tabitha please-”

“Have a good night my lord.”

Waking the next morning, to Gavin’s arm dangling over on her hip. Stretching and backing up until their bodies make contact. Maylyn feels him move his arm and his hand rests on her stomach. “Why are you here?”

“Can’t I be here with you?” He asks groggy in a quiet tone.

“Of course, but I assumed you want to be in your bed.”

“I want to be wherever you are. You looked comfortable, so we stayed here.”

Trying to get closer and rubbing her bum against him. He holds her tight, “Why do you do this to me?”

Maylyn giggles, “Do what?”

He starts to kiss her neck while grabbing her hips and grinding against her. “Oh, that Gavin? I would like to say I’m sorry, but I’m not.”

He chuckles, “I know you’re not. This coronation ceremony isn’t getting here fast enough.”

“Tell me about this ceremony Gavin?”

“Its easy. You’ll be crowned Queen.”

“What does that consist of? I want to know what’s going to happen.”

“We will stand before the pack and guest, you’ll make some vows to me, the pack and the people of the full Kingdom.”

“Vows?”

He changes position to lay on his back while dragging Maylyn to straddle his waist. He looks up at her, “Yes, you pledged your allegiance to me as your mate, King and Alpha. You pledge to the pack as their Luna and to the Kingdom as the Kingdom Luna. Not too much.”

“Hmm.”

Gavin reaches up and cups her face, “What is it? What worries you my mate?”

He rubs her legs, “Nothing, its just... feels like a lot. Can I be more then just your mate? Luna of a pack is a lot, but this is Luna of the full Werewolf and Lycan Kingdom.”

He sits up, her body moving down and now on his hard s*x. “The changes your body is going through will help you be able to handle all of this. It can be a lot. I am here, Trent and Tabitha are here for you. You will be an outstanding Luna. You’re already an amazing mate and we haven’t even completed the mating bond.”

Feeling his words gave her strength. She leans down and kisses his face. He thrusts up, she falls onto his chest. Her hands on the bed next to him, while his hands seriously holding onto her face. A moan escapes her mouth, she grinds her wet s*x on him. “Gavin, why do you do these things to me?”

He chuckles and releases her face; “I want you to want me.”

Hugging him, “Don’t worry. I want you bad! I can’t wait. When is this ceremony?”

Yelling playfully when Gavin's arms wrap around her and hug her tight! The feels this man creates in her body, should not be legal. The waves of feel good, the waves of I want to feel you inside of me, the waves of, I’m going to rip off his clothes and put my lips on every inch of his body. This is something she never felt with Randy. Gavin makes her feel good, he treats her well, she can’t help but be totally in love with him all the time.

“Two days. Today you will go shopping with Tabitha for a dress.”

Sitting up again, “What type of dress do I buy? Like a wedding dress?”

“Yes- I guess, you know, I'm not really sure. Tabitha will show you the type of dress and you can decide what you want and that will be your dress.”

“What are you wearing Gavin.”

“My royal robes. We will have the ceremony, have dinner with the guests, we will leave and come back to the bedroom and complete the mating bond. Will you wait for me, my love?”

Shocked! Maylyn smiles, “What are you asking? I love you Gavin and I am going to spend my life with you.”

“You seem so different from the girl I met.” Gavin releasing her to sit up again. 

Shrugging her shoulders, “I am. I feel different, I feel loved, accepted and that’s because of you. My feelings for you, I never felt this way with Randy.”

“Randy? My general Randy?” He motions for her to move off him. “Maylyn, is your old mate Randy my general Randy?”

Biting her button lip, “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you Gavin. When I saw him a couple of days ago, it was such a surprise. I-I had no idea he came here or how he even got here. I- I didn’t know how to tell you. I’m sorry Gavin.”

He gets out of the bed and dresses in his clothes from the floor. He does not say a word, only walks out of the bedroom.

“Wonderful!”

Tabitha comes in the bedroom about 30 minutes later. “Hey!”

Maylyn looks up at Tabitha, “May, what’s wrong?”

Tears not falling, “Gavin found out.”

“Found out what May?”

“Randy, he’s-”

“General Randy is what?”

“He’s my first mate.”

“What? General Randy is your first mate. The dom, the one that rejected you? The dom? General Randy? What? Huh… what a small world.”

“That's a lot of emotion in such a small time." That reaction shook the mind for a second. "Okay but, I saw him a couple of days ago and I was so shocked to see him here. I didn’t tell Gavin anything and this morning he found out and he left without saying a word.”

“Oh, is that what you’re worried about. He’ll get over it, you didn’t even have s*x with him.”

“I know, but Gavin doesn’t know that.”

“Then tell him May. Put his mind at ease.”

“But how-”

Tabitha short of rolling her eyes, “Get dressed, go to his bedroom and tell him the full story, now!”

“But-”

“May, listen to me. I won’t take you shopping util you settle things.”

Nodding, “Okay, I’m going to get dressed and go see him.”

“Good.”
