Ellie’s POV 

"Chase what are you doing here" I said as I walked over to help Joey stand to his feet "helping you obviously, and your welcome" he said walking closer to me, and Joey "how are you helping, you threw my human" Joey dust hisself off "I’m not your human, and I’m fine" he said "how did you find me" I asked chase. He scrunched his face up at me " I followed you" I pulled my phone out and texted max "I texted max let’s talk in private" a portal appeared, and max came through "I thought you guys were arguing, now you want to bring him back to the haven" chase asked I pushed Joey through the portal "I told you he is my friend, now let’s go before someone sees" I yelled at chase he said smacked his lips, and we all walked through the portal to Max’s apartment.

"So who is this human friend of yours" chase asked sitting on a stool at the kitchen counter. "My name is Joey" Joey said with his chest out. Chase chuckled, and said "well Joey why were you, and Ellie arguing in a dirty ally" Joey exhaled "we weren’t arguing we were discussing intel" I chimed in. Chase frowned at me "please don’t start" I said walking up to max "thanks again max" I said, before ushering Joey to follow me out the apartment. Chase followed after us, joining us on the elevator. Joey stood in between us. "You let this weakling help you, but not me" I rolled my eyes"I’m not weak" joey said chase let out a chuckle. "he is not helping me he’s helping hisself" I interrupted, by Chase was quiet for a moment then spoke "from now on I will fulfill my duty, and protect you, there is nothing you can say" I opened my mouth to speak when the elevator door opened to our floor, and he walked out. When we got in the apartment Joey sat on the sofa, and i went into chase’s room with him. "I’m sorry I just don’t want anyone getting hurt, I was just going to quit working with Joey because he’s been asking questions, pulling himself deeper in" chase sat on his bed "Ellie I’m not mad, I just want to protect you, not just cause it’s my duty, but because you are my best friend. Let me help you" he said "I’m sorry chase" he nodded. "Want to come get acquainted, since we will all be working together" chase reluctantly stood to his feet, and followed me out to the livingroom. "Joey this is chase, chase this is Joey" they both nodded to each other "so what intel did you have Joey" chase asked I smiled at him "I was just telling Ellie this man Seth, works at the library he knows knows all there is to know about beings. The Solis wand traps incubi in a enchanted box, only the descendents of one of the hybrid hunters bloodline know where it’s located, and can use it." He said. "How do we free him" I asked "only the person the put him in can take him out" I rolled my eyes "so what’s next leader" chase asked, Joey, and him staring me down. "Who is your leader?" I asked looking behind me "you put the gang together, making you the leader, therefore think of a plan." I stared daggers at him "not because I’m your leader, but because I have a plan" I said "we all need to bring somebody home, but first we have to find them" they both looked at me confused as I continued "to find them we need to find the Blake family" chase put his hand up "I’ve been trying to find leads on my father, found a new vampire brothel, the redheads hangout there al the time so I heard" chase said "have you checked it out" Joey asked "No I smell like a fireplace, I won’t be able to get pass the bouncer" chase said "I can get us in undetected" I said " and then what, we approach one of them and say 'take us to your evil fortress' I don’t think that will work" chase said "something like that, chase give Joey something to wear, and change into something more vampiry" I commanded.

After I got dress I went into the kitchen and got the vampire mask potion out my "witch stuff cabinet" (I filled the cabinet over the sink with potions, herbs, and magical tools that I got from Max, for missions, and emergency’s). This potion will give the person or being who drinks it the scent of a vampire. I also grab a flower scent potion. Joey, and Chase both walked into the livingroom. I drank some of the vampire mask potion, then joined them. When I joined them Chase sniffed the air. "Wow you smell like a vamp" I hand chase the vampire mask, and Joey the flower. "Here drink these" they take a sip immediately at the same time. "Joey, chase, and I split the rest of the vampire mask potion since our eyes are red" chase started to smell hisself, then Joey "you smell like a rose bush" Joey smelled hisself. "I can’t smell anything" Joey said "because you are human, sorry the flower scent was the only other thing I had, I use it when I’m undercover, in clubs” I said, and Joey frowned "hey I said I’m sorry, they will just think you are our human pet with sweet smelling blood" I said to Joey, chase started laughing hard, making Joey look even angrier. "You guys meet me at Max’s I forgot something" I ran to my room grabbed max’s scarf he left, and my switch blade , then I ran into the bathroom. I cut on the lights, and stared at my reflection, I focused on my eyes. I then closed my eyes, still focusing on them. When I opened my eyes they were red. Chase has been training me a little, and everyday I get better at using/controlling my powers. I locked up the apartment, and met everyone at Max’s.
