When Tilly was under the surface, William had but completely forgotten his wife and child and was helplessly consumed with everything about Tilly. Without any forethought, William dived into the marina’s waters, absent of any diving gear, forgetting that he was an air-breathing mammal, and swam aggressively toward her. Tilly’s mastery of the liquid environment they were in gave her the appearance of an underwater ballerina. She smiled a broad smile, a smile that had no concern for losing her breath in the process.
