As LJ grew into adolescence and then into a teenager, the family nudity became very uncomfortable for me. Should I have put an end to it?
How? LJ’s strong-willed personality would have surely met any change in the family nudity policy with the resistance of a biblical proportion. Beth had no problem with all of us being nude at home. On this issue, I was a stranger in a strange land. When LJ began working at the marina and as a crew on the family boat, she continued her allegiance to nudity. OK, I know what you are thinking. I was OK with it when others were nude on the boat, but not my baby girl—put some f*****g clothes on!
