Alone and powerless.

I move my ass around slowly, teasing him. “Your killing me.” he says thru gritted teeth, I lean down and kiss his lips passionately before whispering. “You haven’t seen anything, the things I can do.” I jumped off him and straightened up and opened the door just as Mark knocked on the door. “Morning, I was just coming to check on how you were doing but I see your already up.” He tried not to smile but he was failing badly at it, I heard the other 2 burst into laughter and Mark quickly followed them. “Honestly.” I sighed as I rolled my eyes and went down for coffee, afterwards I went for a shower then got dressed before diving back into the records. I stayed in the library until Mark got a call late that night; I went upstairs and got my guns. “Gotta love a woman who knows how to handle such big guns.” Flynn winked at me, Ky growled at him and I laughed. “I can handle all types of weapons even the dangerous ones.” I winked back at him as Ky rounded the corner and glared at us, we laughed as we headed downstairs to see what was going on. “Lust has hit a hotel on the main strip, Skyler can you use your spell to get us in unseen?” “Field testing? Hell yes!” Avalea said happily. “What's her deal?” I ask as I head into the witchy room and bag up what I need to get us in and to get us out as well. I join them in the car then we are on the road heading into the city. “Mark what's her power?” I asked him again. “Touch, if she touches you she will instantly force her will onto you.” As soon as I felt her energy I had Mark stop the car, I cast the spell on the 5 of us. “Be careful and keep in contact at all times, her powers have claimed many lives already.” We all left the car and made our way inside the hotel which was easy when people couldn’t see you. I shielded my mind from all outside sources, I dropped the spell and we all split up and went from room to room. I was thankful that not all of the people were dead, most were just sleeping. “I have her, room 319. I'm going in.” Ky whispered, the next second there was a loud thud then the sound of gun fire then glass breaking. “Ky!” I screamed as I raced up the stairs 3 at a time, I entered the room with my gun drawn. There was a man sleeping next to a lady but it was the 2 bullet holes in the wall that held my attention. “Skyler? Where’s Ky? What happened?” mark said franticly. “I don’t know, his gone so is lust.” My heart was breaking, why would she take him? Suddenly something hit me in the back of the head and it was lights out. I woke up tied up, blindfolded and gagged on the back seat of a car; I tried to feel for something to help me escape but the was nothing I felt the car slow down then come to a full stop. I felt the door open and rain started to come in and wet me, someone grabbed my ankle and pulled me out until they were able to pick me up completely and carry me somewhere. I was starting to panic I couldn’t even reach my vampire side to help me and that scared the hell out of me even more.
