Learning who I could be.

“Mark, we are all ok and we’re heading down now.” I'm not sure what Mark told them and really I don’t care, I just wanted to get away from the city. Mark drove back so the boys could rest; I kept an eye on them while they slept. “What happened up there?” Mark finally asked. “I'm not sure, I was just so mad that blue fire kinda shot from my hands and burnt him to a crisp and then some.” I said quietly. “It almost seemed like you lost it because Ky was hurt.” Avalea said with a smile. “What? You reaction was due to Kyle?” that was the first time I heard anyone say his full name. “I don’t know ok I think your reading into it too much, a vampire can’t bond with a werewolf and I can’t be his mate.” I said a little sadly, I knew it pointless but I think I was already falling in love with Ky and I knew it would only end in heartbreak. Once we were back at the compound we helped the boys up to their rooms, I sat with Ky for a few minutes and just watched him rest. “Skyler?” Avalea said quietly from the doorway. “I'm coming, he doesn’t look so scary when he is sleeping.” I smiled at her as I left his room and closed the door, she linked our arms then we went downstairs to where Mark was waiting for us. “We are going to test your abilities as a witch, I have had a room set up for you.” He showed us to a room that I had never actually seen before, I wasn’t even sure if there had been a door there. Inside the room was a bookshelf full of books, then a huge collection of ingredients. “Damn! This is incredible.” I whispered in complete awe, I pulled out the first door; it was a dark blue leather bound grimoire as soon as I touched it a blue haze covered my eyes. “Amazing.” I laughed as I opened it and I just started reading it, each page was incredible, the possibilities were endless. Book after book, I had read them all by morning, at 7am I woke up Mark ready to try out the list of spells that I had made. “Have you slept at all?” Mark yawned as he sat up, I laughed. “Nope, hurry up coffee is ready. You opened this up now you need to help me, the things I have learnt and figured out, wow!” Mark laughed loudly, the others came to see what the matter was since Mark rarely laughed and they wanted to know what was so funny. They all follow me into the “witchy room” as Avalea called it. “Now this one is to help you guys.”
