The factory was eerily silent. Jasper remained unhurried, leisurely counting on his fingers, his gaze flickering as if pondering something.
"I can tell you everything I know, but you must ensure my family's safety," he said.
Jasper looked up coldly, meeting his eyes. "Do you think you are in a position to negotiate with me?"
The assassin gritted his teeth. Judging by Jasper's expression, he had every reason to believe that Jasper was capable of killing his entire family. "I received this job from an underground business website. Everyone uses code names there; I don't know the real identity of the client. The client insisted that I eliminate you at any cost, promising substantial payment and the best medical resources for my daughter's treatment if I succeeded. That's all I know."
