Elijah’s first reaction was to hold me as though he was terrified of losing me. It took him a few minutes for the shock of the situation to wear off and him to start reacting more normally. He picked me up and carried me over to his desk where he placed me on his lap, gripping my hips tightly.
I could tell from the look on his face that he was already deep in thought, trying to work out what had happened. I nibbled on my lower lip anxiously, this was a conversation that I really didn’t want to have.
“Arthur took control of my body didn’t he?” He asked after a few seconds.
I nodded my head in agreement. I wasn’t sure what else to say, I didn’t want to tell him what I had agreed to. I knew how much it would hurt him to know what my plans were but I didn’t really want to lie to him either
