Question: Write a description with the title 'Underwater'

Underwater

Warm light rays broke through the surface of the sea, lighting up the whole sea. Although the light rays should be warming up the sea, the coldness of the water seemed to defeat  the mini battle with the warmness of the sun. 

The water was freezing even with the suit wrapped around me. My flippers propelled me closer to the coral reef. The coral reef was an underwater paradise. Large, living breathing structure consisting of a plethora of unimaginable organism that survived in harmony. The base was a large structure resembling porous rock. There was lurid cornucopia of sea life inverted onto it. 

I can identify crimson-red anemones. The force of the current makes them sway from side to side, moving as graceful as a swan. Some goldfish are hidden with them, seeking shelter from the predators who wish to have them for meal. 

A sea turtle gracefully swam from behind. A patchy green shell facing its own challenges; a dusky yellow body with multitude of black spots interspersed along it. It was a survivor of the sea to be able to live for decades amidst the danger in every corner of the ocean. 

A sting ray meticulously camouflaged itself under the fine grains of sand, waiting to ambush its prey, a silver-grey salmon. The salmon lay convulsing in the sand, electrocuted by the sting ray's deadly sting. 

Beep! The buzzer on my meter blinked with a red flashing light. I took a final pitiful glance at the dead salmon, returning to the surface with heavy heart.
