Question: Describe what you see and experience as you dive downwards to explore under the sea.
Tiny fishes swam at the surface layer of the sea. Swimming after one another as if they were playing a game of tag like humans do. Larger fishes swam in schools with their respective own species tightly, not wanting to get separated from their group in this massive never-ending ocean. Despite having fishes in groups of their own species, there ae groups with mixture of species, socializing with one another to know other species better. Mixtures of colors of their fin looks like they are a mobile rainbow in the sea.
On the seafloor, colorful corals can be seen settling down as well as getting ready to eat its prey. Clownfish can be seen making agreement with the coral. In exchange for food, shelter will be provide for them when necessary. Looking at the left, corals are feasting on fishes with the help of corals fishes. On the other side, various coral fish are swimming in the speed of light, trying to escape from their predators such as sharks.
Not only the coal which is occupying the seabed, seaweed is too. Seaweed grew tall and in bunch to create a seaweed maze, hoping to shake their predator off their tail. Crabs can be seen walking with their friends through the maze in crab style.
The largest mammal on earth: whales, are spotted swimming in the ocean as well. Some alone, trying to search for their partner or hunting for food. Some in pairs with their destined partner, swimming all around the ocean to display their affection in public. Some in groups, racing one another competitively to see who is the fastest whale among them.
As I dived deeper to the abyss zone, the coldness of the water touched my skin. The zone is as dark as night, only light from my flashlight and light made by fishes such as lanternfish. Realizing that the lanternfish is after me, I quickly returned to the surface layer of the ocean. Taking one last glance of the ocean with heavy heart, I popped my head out of ocean, returning to land.
