“I’ve been expecting your call, Cara.” Theo said in a straight voice. Even in his cold voice, Cara was sure that he would not dare hurt her. That is how deep their relationship is. Cara is willing to put everything at stake because she trusts Theo.
“I’ll send you the address. Let’s meet there.” Cara responded with her usual tone and ended the call. Her heart is pounding hard, unlike before; she was just feeling giddy because of her crush with Theo. Now it is because she is finally revealing herself to him. She bit her nails as she paces inside the room.
Ashton patted Cara on the head. “Don’t worry too much, love. You got me.” Ashton reminded Cara that he is the new best friend, the new man in her life, and not having Theo is not that much of a problem; at least in his opinion.
