“Cara…” He mumbled. Ashton looked at the woman beside him. He is not used to having someone to comfort. Cara is the only person who had the chance to be this close to him. And it worries him that his duty to serve Cara and be free from his family’s curse is working against him. Because right now, all he wants to do is to comfort the woman beside him.

The loud sound of thunder outside their room made the windows vibrate. Heavy raindrops followed soon.
Cara clenched her jaw while staring blankly at the television. Ashton turned it off and realized that Cara is now able to influence the weather. Cara is not even aware of what is happening outside.
