Cara felt bad for messing up Ashton’s plan for a romantic dinner with her. She stood up and embraced Ashton. “I’m sorry, babe. I can meet up with Theo earlier in some other place.” She seriously hopes Ashton will not take it against her.
“It’s okay. I’m fine. We can get that dinner some other time as well.” He responded in a haughty tone. Cara knows how jealous he can be, but this time she can’t really say it wasn’t for any reason. If it happened to her, she most likely will not continue with it either. The mood and excitement for planning it the first time is not the same when after what happened.
