Theo kept mum while he watched the big bosses deliberate their next plan. He was wary, thinking about how far the group knew about Ashton and Cara. Theo glanced at his father who was brushing his chin as he listened to the bosses behind the shadows.
“Crafter Co’s pull out will mean the doom of our expansion!” Theo heard one of the shadow bosses exclaim as he slammed the table in anger.
“All our resources are at stake. Do you think Crafter Co. has something to do with the witches?” Another one of them asked. Theo’s heart thumped at hearing the big bosses relate Ashton to the witches. He tried his best not to show any expression on his face to give them a clue.
