The mansion felt different without Victoria.
Too quiet.
Too empty.
And somehow, far too dangerous.
Lena stood at the window watching her
mother's car disappear down the long driveway.
Victoria had spent the morning getting ready for her bridal shower, laughing as she moved from room to room, completely unaware of the tension that had been building beneath her own roof.
Before leaving, she'd kissed Lena's cheek.
“Please try to relax today.”
Lena had smiled.
“I will.”
Now the front gates closed.
The car disappeared.
And silence settled over the house.
Lena slowly turned around.
Adrian was standing across the entrance hall.
He was watching her.
Neither of them spoke.
The last time they'd been alone like this,
Lena had ended up in tears.
She remembered his words.
Cheap.
Her chest tightened.
Adrian seemed to notice.
“Lena.”
She looked away.
“What?”
“I meant what I said before.”
She frowned.
“Which part?”
“That I'm sorry.”
She stared at him.
“You've said that.”
“I know.”
“Sorry doesn't make it disappear.”
“No.”
He took a few steps toward her.
“But I wish I could take it back."
Lena folded her arms.
“You can't.”
“I know.”
There was something different in his expression.
No arrogance.
No control.
Just regret.
“I was angry,” he continued. “And I said something cruel because I knew exactly where to hurt you.”
Lena swallowed.
“That almost makes it worse.”
“It does.”
Silence.
Then she whispered,
“Why were you so angry?"
Adrian looked at her.
“Because you were trying to convince me that you were worth wanting.”
Her eyes glistened.
“I wanted to know if you wanted me.”
“I do.”
The answer came immediately.
Lena's breath caught.
Adrian stepped closer.
“That's the problem."
She looked up at him.
“What problem?”
“You.”
She almost smiled.
“That isn't very romantic.”
“You make it impossible to be sensible.”
Her smile faded.
“Maybe I don't want sensible.”
His eyes remained fixed on hers.
“You should.”
“Why?”
“Because I'm engaged to your mother.”
The words hung heavily between them.
Lena looked away.
“I know.”
“And you're supposed to hate me.”
“I tried.”
“Did it work?"
“No.”
Something changed in his expression.
He reached for her hand.
Slowly.
Giving her every opportunity to pull away.
She didn't.
Their fingers intertwined.
“Lena…"
She stepped closer.
“Tell me to leave.”
Adrian looked at her.
“Leave.”
She didn't move.
His jaw tightened.
“Lena.”
“Say it like you mean it.”
He couldn't.
Instead, his hand rose to her cheek.
She closed her eyes.
His thumb brushed gently across her skin.
Then she opened her eyes again.
“Adrian.”
He kissed her.
It wasn't like their previous kisses.
There was no teasing.
No game.
No attempt to win.
It was hesitant at first, almost restrained, as though both of them understood how dangerous it was.
Then Lena's hands slipped around his neck.
His arms tightened around her.
For a few seconds, the entire world disappeared.
Until—
A car horn sounded outside.
They broke apart.
Lena's eyes widened.
“Who was that?”
Adrian looked toward the windows.
“I don't know.”
He released her immediately.
“Stay here.”
He crossed the hall and looked outside.
Lena followed.
A delivery van was parked near the gates.
Adrian frowned.
“Probably nothing.”
“Probably?”
He looked at her.
“Go upstairs.”
“Why?”
“Because if someone sees you with me—”
“I know.”
She didn't finish the sentence.
She turned toward the staircase.
Then stopped.
“Adrian?”
“Yes?”
She looked back.
“I don't regret it.”
His expression softened.
“Neither do I.”
She hurried upstairs.
But halfway up, she heard the front door open.
Her heart stopped.
She turned.
Adrian was speaking to the delivery driver.
Everything seemed normal.
She continued upstairs.
But she couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed.
Something irreversible.
That afternoon, Lena tried to stay in her room.
She read.
Or at least tried to.
She couldn't concentrate on a single page.
Every few minutes, her thoughts returned to Adrian.
His hands.
His voice.
The way he'd looked at her when he said I do.
She closed the book.
“This is insane.”
She couldn't help herself and slid her hand into her pants.
She needed a release and the way Adrian kissed her sent her off the rails.
One finger slipped in her hole before she knew it she had to fingers in.
"Oh f**k yes!"
Her legs started shaking uncontrollable just as she was about to orgasm Adrian entered.
"Lena what are you doing."
"Nothing, but you shouldn't be here."
"Next time you should keep your little moans softer."
He stepped closer
"Let me finish what you couldn't , since it was my name you were moaning."
Lena was too horny to even protest.
Adrian tore open her pants.
"Beautiful, wet and ready to be ravished."
Adrian licked her v****a like he was a starving man and rubbed her c**t.
Lena couldn't control herself and grabbed his head pushing her v****a more into his face.
Before she knew it she squirted all over his face.
A sound came from downstairs.
A door closing.
Adrian grabbed one of Lena's t-shirts to wipe his face.
Adrian looked towards the bedroom door.
Both of them froze.
"Did you hear that."
"Yes."
He stepped towards the hallway.
Lena grabbed her gown and followed.
They reached the top of the stairs.
A shadow moved across the entrance hall.
Lena grabbed Adrian's arm.
“Someone's here.”.
He immediately pulled her behind him.
“Stay behind me.”
The front door opened.
A housekeeper stepped inside carrying
several bags.
Lena exhaled.
Adrian looked at her.
She whispered,
“We're going to get caught.”
“Not if you listen to me.”
“I don't like being told what to do.”
“I've noticed.”
The housekeeper walked toward the kitchen.
Adrian waited until she disappeared.
Then he looked at Lena.
“Back to your room.”
She nodded.
They turned.
And then Lena's phone rang.
Loudly.
Both of them froze.
The housekeeper stopped in the hallway.
“Miss Moreau?”
Lena's eyes widened.
Adrian whispered,
“Don't answer.”
But the phone continued ringing.
The housekeeper started walking toward them.
Lena quickly silenced it.
“Sorry,” she called.
The housekeeper smiled politely.
“No problem.”
She disappeared into the kitchen.
Lena released a breath.
Adrian stared at her.
“You nearly gave me a heart attack.”
“You?”
“Yes.”
She smiled.
“Good.”
He shook his head.
“You're impossible.”
“And you like me anyway.”
He looked at her.
“Unfortunately.”
She laughed quietly.
Then the sound of a car approaching the mansion came from outside.
Both of them stopped laughing.
Adrian walked toward the window.
His face went pale.
“What?”
He didn't answer.
Lena came beside him.
“Who is it?”
Adrian stared at the approaching car.
Then—
He saw Victoria step out.
Lena's heart stopped.
“She's back.”
Adrian turned toward her.
“Go.”
“What?”
“Now.”
Lena hurried toward the staircase.
Victoria opened the front door.
“I'm home!”
Adrian immediately straightened his jacket.
“Welcome back.”
Lena reached the stairs.
Then Victoria called out—
“Lena?”
Lena froze.
“Yes, Mom?”
“Come here.”
She looked at Adrian.
