TEN Back in her office, Mandy swivelled and sidled her chair to look out of the window to her tree. She had been doing this a lot while Jack had been off. She found the swaying of the branches remarkably soothing, just as Jack had said; she even neglected her paperwork, also like Jack. She scooted back to answer the phone, it was Jackie, ‘Mandy, how’s it going?’ Mandy caught her breath, ‘Is Meesh okay?’ ‘Doing remarkably well, that's not the reason for my call. How are you? And more importantly, how is Jack? I have to admit when I heard he’d gone back to work I was worried.’ ‘Jack will be impressed you're worried about him, but I’m keeping a close eye. There is something particular that makes Jack a key player in this case, heaven help us, but that's why he’s back.’ ‘I only say this
