Manny lifted her hands up in the air and clapped once. The movie which was running on the screen paused. The cinema hall went silent except for the screeching of the rats. I could hear my own heavy breathing.
"Why am I here?" I asked. I wanted to sit on one of the seats but they were too dusty and dirty. "Manny...What are you trying to do?"
"Proving your incompetency to Dad." Manny shrugged. She touched my cheeks and then caressed my hair. "Ansh was here. Did you meet him?"
"No...Yes...I don't..." I started blabbering s**t again.
"You don't have to lie." Manny laughed, "You haven't mastered the art of lying! Are you in love brother?" She brought her face close to mine. "Have you fallen for him?"
