Chapter five:: Shopping with him

Ferdinand held the cart as he trolled it as she shopped.
"What would you want to eat?" , he looked back at her and thought for a while.
" I'm not picky with food." , he shrugged.
"But, am shopping for you.. So what are your favourites?", she asked casually.
" I don't mind fried rice and German sauce with diced chicken." , its been a while since he ate this meal,its been a while since he even ate proper food too.
He paused, " you cook?, are you sure you won't burn my house down ?" , he teased.
" hahahaha, that was a sarcastic laugh." , she rolled her eyed and playfully hit him on the chest.
" My mom was a full time housewife,she loved cooking, baking and playing the piano. So,during her Leisures she teaches me how to cook,she really wanted me to be different from the rest Shawn women. Independent,strong and smart." .....
she shook her head and added playfully with a wink, " I'm like spongebob in the kitchen, a full time kitchen magician. "
"Huh, that's for me to find out then.", he chuckled.
"How about vegetables?" , she asked,he nodded and they walked towards the vegetable display section.
Ferdinand quickly snuck an ice cream tub and popcorn into the cart, so sleek Kayla didn't notice.
After the shopping was done,they left the shop and headed home.
» At home «
"Shouldn't you head for work, Mr CEO?" , she inquired.
"No.. Let me help you out first." , he aided her in the arrangement of the stuff they bought.
After the arrangement , she decided to go upstairs and have a bath. When she came out , the television was switched on seems like someone was watching . Since she came here the television had never been turned on , she thought it wasn't working at a point.
Oh and a tub of ice cream was placed on the table , the lights were kind of dimmed .
She finally noticed Ferdinand's figure.
