In Daniel house every thing is fine,he has been studying well in order to pass this exams,to be able to convince his mum he is rady to go to the university,in Mumbai in India,to become a marine engineer.

his one dream is to finally live Nigeria,so he can be away from his family,who are not always there for him,he is seventeen years old now, and is about to finish his secondary School soon, and now he is looking forward to his going to Australia to visit his big sister and his niece and nephew, Mimi and Jerry.

Mrs Lucy came home tired, she eat her food, then when to Daniel room, were she fine him awake, walching TV, with a book on his hands.

is that how you will pass, your exams?Mrs Lucy ask.

Daniel,turn and look at his mother who's standing at the door of his room, looking at him.

O you are finally back home, welcome, this is my school and my life,I do as I please, however i want,if you have problem with that, you should stop being besy all the time,so you can pay more attention to my study's, Daniel said.

well as you said it your life and you can do as it please you don't forget if you rowend your life because of me,I will not be there when you regret it later,in life,but not the less, remember if you fall this term,you better forget about school; Mrs Lucy move closer and site beside Daniel, and if you fall exams, you will not go to Australia at all, she said.

Daniel turn and look at his mum, who's smiling at him.

this will be our deal,you take first position and you can go to Australia and any other country of your choice to spend your holiday before you write you waec and jamb to study abroad., Mrs Lucy said to Daniel, smiling she stude up and left,when she reach the door she turn and look at Daniel and Said,think about my offer, then she live him alone to think this true.

"Daniel sat on his bed, for like two minutes, recalling the conversation he hard with his mother, after much thought,he decided to study,for why he is still in school was because of,his decision to not go to school because he what his parents to pay more attention to him which was the reason he was sent to Nigeria to be with his mother,so he can go to school.

Daniel has always love his mother because, she is the only one who can really push him were it hurts the most,and he knows that his mother will keep to her words no matter what, and for that he has to study hard.

**Mrs lucy check her time it already after 11pm it has been three hours since she came out of Daniel room, she is already use to Daniel attitude towards her and his father,she feels bad the way their conversation went, and deep down inside her she knows that it her fault, that Daniel is that way she is always working, and saving money for her young boys, but she is not giving them the,real thing they what, and that's herself to them.

Mrs Lucy clean the tears that was coming out of her eyes, and she decided to go and apologize to Daniel the way she talks to him earlier.

On her way, she stopped at the door, were she noticed that Daniel room is still light up, she opened the door gently and she saw that the TV is off and he is sleeping on top of his books, she went inside and help him to his bed, arrange his reading table and close his Windows for him for the night was cold.

she off the lights, make sign of the cross for him, before offing his bed lamb, and she Left the room,at that moment she then knew that, what ever she said earlier really was met to be said,so that Daniel will finally, take his studies seriously.
