"Can we come back in now?! It's really windy and our n*****s are freezing off!" Jungkook wails.
The girls and I snicker along with some other customers. Winter truly is wicked. She had the two boys actually belly dance in Princess Jasmine costumes to Shakira outside the cafe. We go over to the door to get a better view of the show.
Winter laughs, almost busting a tear. It's the first time I've seen her laugh.
"Um, Taehyung beat you two so you lose the bet. Only 5 hours to go though, and try to put a little more grace into it. Your hips are stiff."
"You are pure evil." Jungkook dances.
"I kinda like it." Jimin waves his hips around elegantly. He belly dances better than any girl I know that's for sure. "See, Jimin gets it." Winter says.
A delivery man walks towards us at the door but pauses for a second and raises his eyebrows at the boys. Jimin winks at the delivery man to tease him.
He shakes his head clear of thoughts and hands a bouquet of colorful flowers to us. "D-delivery for Lilo Hanson."
"Oh, that's me." I raise my hand. He passes the flowers to me and walks away.
"Wow Lilo those flowers are gorgeous!" Gretchen gasps. "They are pretty nice." Winter adds. I raise them to my nose and take in the refreshing aroma.
"Who are they from?? Maybe you have a secret admirer!" Teddy says.
"I don't know." I laugh, before checking the little pink card attached and reading it aloud.
'Hope you like the flowers, Ice cream at 8:30?'
Tye x
"Aww Lilo you're so lucky, I want a guy to take me out to ice cream!" Teddy pouts. I smile and giggle whilst admiring the silky floral petals.
Jungkook and Jimin look over at us and exchange a look before snickering.
"What was that look about?" I ask. They both quickly turn to me in shock that I caught their action, then Jungkook chuckles. "Nothing. Enjoy your date." He winks.
Before I can protest further Taehyung comes out to meet us all. "Why is no one inside doing their job?"
"Bossman, look at the flowers Lilo got, they're so pretty!" Teddy grips her hands around mine and raises them to meet Taehyung's face. He leans back and pushes them away. "Get those away, where did you even get them?"
"Lilo's boyfriend dropped them off!"
"Teddy! He's not my boyfriend... at least not yet."
Gretchen's face lights when an idea hatches in her head. "Lilo you should put these on the counter in the store! They'll look stunning, I bet the customers will love them too—"
"No." Taehyung's deep voice cuts through the sentence like a knife, washing our smiles away. "And why not?" I ask.
"They'll attract bees. Leave them out here or don't bother coming back in." He says with a hardened face and goes back inside.
What is his problem? He's so fricking irritating I swear. It's not like he'll even see the flowers anyway, he's always in the kitchen or upstairs.
I rest the flowers by Jungkook and Jimin, "I'll leave these with you guys until after work, since you'll be out here for a while." I say shooting a wink at Jungkook that mocks the one he gave me earlier. "Don't let anything happen to them."
Jimin shoots me a cute salute before turning back on the speaker. He's not embarrassed in the slightest, and to tell the truth, if I had his abs I wouldn't be either.

It's currently 8:05, meaning work just finished a couple of minutes ago. It'll take me about 15 minutes to get to my date if I walk, so if I change out of my uniform now I should make it.
"Later." Winter raises her hand before putting on her motorcycle helmet. I wave back, "Bye."
Which leaves just me. I waste no time before running into the changing room.
"In a hurry?"
Before I can walk in I look back to see Taehyung leaning against the wall.
"Yes. I have to meet someone in 2o minutes if you don't mind."
"Hmm... Usually a girl has to stay back late to do the billing at the register, wash up in the kitchen and store the ingredients in the cooler. I guess today it's you."
"What?! No I have to be somewhere! If I do all that I'll be late!"
"Better get to it then." His mouth creases as he stuffs a hand in his pocket and walks past me.
"This is so unfair! Can't you just do it I mean, you live here!"
He stops at the bottom of the stairs and looks up in thought, pinching his chin and clicking his tongue.
"I would but..." He then stretches his body with a yawn. "I'm exhausted. Have a nice night." The last part of the sentence is said in a cute animated voice before he goes upstairs.
"Bastard."
Without much time to waste, I sprint to the counter in the diner and begin the tasks. I've got to get this stuff done FAST if I want to meet Tye. He's been so nice to me, so it's not fair to keep him waiting.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
The time is now 9:15. I don't know how I'm going to explain this to Tye, if he's even still there. I wouldn't blame him if he left.
I step off of the bus and fix my hair without a mirror. I didn't have a chance to do my makeup or anything. Entering the bright purple ice cream parlor feels like an alternate universe to our Cafe. It's refreshing to walk in and not have to be working myself.
But looking around, I can't see Tye—
"Lilo!" I turn to the sound of my name and see him waving. I shoot a smile in return and join his table. "You made it." He smiles adorably.
"Tye I'm so sorry for being late, I ended up getting stuck at work last minute and I couldn't text you. I'm really really really sorry—"
He shakes his head. "It's fine, I get to see you. That's all that matter." A blush glosses my cheeks.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
"We'll get your orders right away."
"Thanks." Tye tells the waitress.
"I never got to thank you for the flowers by the way, they were beautiful. The girls and I couldn't take our eyes off them, I think they might have even wanted to steal them." I giggle.
"I'm glad you liked them. I thought a girl like you deserves to best. And I wanted to get you a gift for doing so well in the school race."
"Thank you, you did well too." I nod. The waitress returns with milkshakes for our wait.
"So, who was that guy that was on your team? I don't think I've met him at school yet." Tye asks.
"Oh no, he doesn't go to our school. That's actually my boss."
Tye stops drinking his milkshake and gives me a stern look.
"That guy... is your boss? Like you work with him every day?"
"Yeah, I guess." I shrug slurping more of my milkshake. "I know, he looks rather young."
"Very young. So what do you think of him?"
I dab and swirl the straw around my milkshake. "Honestly, I think he's a complete moron. His manners are unprofessional and I think he just gives me the hard tasks on purpose."
"Interesting." He nods. I can't really tell what he's thinking or why he's asking about Taehyung. He clears his throat to refresh the conversation and shows me that charming smile of his.
"Sorry, didn't mean to get all weird there. Tell me about your family, what are they like?"
The waitress sets down our ice creams and my face brightens. I mean whose wouldn't?
"My family is pretty small. It's just me, my parents and my dog." I shrug.
"That's so cool, I've always wanted a dog but my mom's allergic. So you have no siblings?"
"Nah. What about you?"
"Three. I'm also the oldest so I like to take care of everybody. But man can they drive me nuts, I can't wait to move out when we graduate high school this year." He laughs.
"No way, you're the lucky one. I envy people with siblings."
"Well maybe someday I can bring you over the meet them," He smiles, "it'll be the first time I've bought a girlfriend over."
I stop eating and look at him, he chuckles at my reaction.
"I'm... your first girlfriend?"
"You will be." He winks, taking another spoonful of ice cream. I smile shyly to myself and eat some more.

The date was perfect. Just perfect. Despite offering as an apology for being late, Tye still paid for our food and walked me home. Tonight really showed me what a gentleman he is.
"This is my house." I point, stopping our tracks when we reach my front porch.
"Oh, that was fast. Well I had a great time with you Lilo."
"Same here. Thank you for everything." I smile innocently. He pecks my cheek and we wave goodbye before I unlock my door and go inside.
"Lilooo!!" My Dad shouts angrily from the living room couch. "Was that a boy I saw?!"
"He's just a friend from school Dad." I roll my eyes.
"That's right dear." My mom says butting into the room. "Let the girl go out with whomever she wants!"
"Thank you." After agreeing with my mom I go upstairs to my room and throw my back on the bed. Margo lies next to me as I release a sigh and giggle.
Tye is such an angel, I hope we last for a long time...
