A familiar girl walks into the room clutching onto the handles of her backpack. My eyes widen once I recognise her face. That's the girl I helped at school the other day!
"Gretchen, come." Taehyung orders. The girl follows like an obedient puppy, avoiding eye contact with us.
"This is the new girl, show her around." I can tell she's very shy, despite the fact that we attend the same school. "Hi Gretchen, I'm Lilo." I smile once he leaves the room.
"I-I know." She nods shyly. "We're in the same year."
"Oh. Well you don't have to be shy around me. This isn't school, we're friends now."
"Y-you're right. Sorry, I get nervous around people, but you seem nice."

Gretchen gave me a brief tour of the cafe. The door in the diner leads to the kitchen. The kitchen seems to connect to a hallway, but we didn't tour that part. There is also a bathroom for the customers.
The door chime rings again, and incomes another girl.
She's a super cute short girl wearing a yellow short sleeve crop top and baggy overalls. She looks Asian, has pale skin, big round brown eyes, a wide smile and long straight blonde hair with bangs.
Before I can greet her the girl takes one look at me and drops all of her belongings, followed by a long dramatic gasp.
"Is this the new girl?! NO WAY!" Her voice is fast. She leaps in front of me and shakes my hand. "Omg this is so exciting! Hi my name is Teddy, like the bear! Only not a bear! Teddy Lazowski, and you're Weelo right? Pleasure to meet you!"
"Actually it's Lilo..." I chuckle.
"Ohhh yeah that makes more sense that's so cool I love your name omg It's super cute! Finally we have more people here, it was starting to get super boring!" I laugh at her hyperactiveness. Gretchen looks at the clock and points. "The cafe opens in a few minutes."
"Then off to the changing room! Race ya!" Teddy zooms into the changing room and Gretchen follows behind, which reminds me that I've been holding this pink box the whole time. I wonder what this uniform will look like...
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
It seems a little strange having to change at work instead of at home, especially when there's always a man here, or if there are male workers coming soon. There could be a secret hole in the wall that they use to watch us change, or a hidden camera. Who knows.
"Come on Lilo let's see how you look!" Teddy calls from outside. I'm the last to finish getting changed, but once I stepped out they both stare at me.
The uniform is a pink button-up t-shirt, white high waisted shorts, pink socks and white boots. I look at Teddy and Gretchen's uniforms and theirs look like mine with their own twists to it. Instead of a pink shirt and pink socks like mine, Teddy's are yellow, and Gretchen's are green with baggier shorts.
"Oh Lilo, you look amazing!"
"It looks okay... but these shorts are a little tight. Feels like my ass will show if I bend over too far." I tug at the bottom.
"You get used to it." Teddy shrugs, flipping the closed sign to say 'open'. "You're going to love it here Lilo, I promise!"
The door opens, making Teddy jump with joy. "Winter's here!"
"Winter? But it's spring."
A beautiful girl strolls into the cafe late without a care. She has the tall long-legged body shape of a model, pale skin and dark eyes. She takes off her motorcycle helmet and fluffs her extra long raven hair.
Teddy hugs her around her waist tightly, but the girl just waits for her to let go. "Winter say hi to Lilo, she works here now!" Teddy takes one of her arms and forces it to wave to me like a puppet on strings.
The girl raises an eyebrow at me. "Hi..." I smile nervously. Her eyes stay trained on me, and remains silent for a while before she calmly says, "Hey." and walks to the changing room.
Is it just me that finds it really strange that all the employees here so far are teenage girls? Is Taehyung a pervert? Please say some guy employees are going to walk through that door at any moment.

Mina wasn't kidding, this place is crazy packed! We're not even halfway through the day and already every table is full, half of which being girls from my school, which is incredibly awkward. They all keep asking if Kim Taehyung works here like he's some kind of celebrity. Most of them aren't even here for the food they just want to see him, but he hasn't stepped foot in the diner. I wonder what he's doing.
Teddy also likes to do cute circus tricks for the customers for tips, she's very flexible and surprisingly talented at balancing things.
I think I'm getting the hang of it here, Teddy and Gretchen are great help, as for Winter...
*Clang!*
The loud sound of a dish hitting a table makes my head instantly turn.
Winter drops the dish on before the seated woman with a blank expression. Her uniform is like the rest of ours, except her shirt and socks are purple.
"O-oh I didn't order this..." The woman looks up nervously.
"...What do you want me to do about it?"
"Uh... n-nothing?"
"Didn't think so." She then heads off to serve another table.
What kind of cafe is this?
"And this is why Winter stays behind the register." Gretchen jokes beside me.
I pick up a small plate with a tea cake on it, ready to give it to a far table, but I pass the kitchen door and stop to peak through.
I see Taehyung with his sleeves rolled up, concentrating deeply while he frosts a cake. His muscles poke out of his arms and a drop of frosting tops his nose. I stand there staring for a while, truly amazed at his preciseness. How can someone so arrogant be so artistic?
Breaking me out of my trance, a hand slaps on my shoulder. I jump almost dropping the plate. I look to my side and Teddy gives me a big smile. "When you've delivered that cake, let's go on a break together!"
"O-okay, sure."

Teddy and I plant ourselves on a bench somewhere in the park to get away from all the noise. She pulls out a pastry from her pocket and scoffs it in her mouth in one bite like a kid. "Are we allowed to eat the food there?" I ask.
"The boss doesn't care, we just take whatever food we want." She replies with a full mouth before adding, "I may have a teensy candy problem." I laugh at the irony that someone with a sweets problem works in a dessert cafe.
"How old are you Teddy?"
"I'm 15 and a half! If you're wondering about the other girls, Gretchen is 17 and Winter is 19. How old are you?"
"I'm 17. Wow, you're very young to be working in a busy place like this."
"Yeah, I've been working here for years back on the other side of town. It gets pretty crazy, but it's no sweat I love it here! It's so fun and everyone's super nice!"
"So are there more workers coming soon or-?"
"Nope. It's just me, you, Gretch, Winter and Bossman, I mean Taehyung. I call him Bossman. We're like a family."
"...So that guy really is the boss?" I look back at the cafe building. "I still don't believe it, he must have someone working behind him for this place to be so popular."
"Nope, Bossman built this place, he does everything around here. He's great at a lot of things."
"Sounds like he's a real role model to you."
"Yep." She nods, "So, what do you think of him?"
"I hate him." I chuckle.
"Ah Really? That's a shame. I get that Bossman can be a bit stubborn, but I believe everybody is nice at heart!"
Nice my ass. Not everybody in this world is nice.
"You guys don't ever get weirded out that he seems so young?"
"Not at all. Like I said, we're a family here and now, you're part of it too!" She then pulls out another pastry from her back pocket and takes a bite.
"Our pockets are so shallow, how on earth are you fitting food in there?"
"Years of practice."
Just then we see Taehyung walk out of the cafe with his hands in the pockets of his long black trench coat, a black mask covering his mouth and a black hat.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
"Out." He walks straight past us, not stopping to talk.
"Yeah, he does that sometimes. We never know when he'll be back, so we just don't question it."
Hmm... seems a little weird. I wonder where he needs to be so bad.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Finally, closing time. The last customer leaves the store and I flip the sign to say closed. Winter's chilling behind the counter and Gretchen and Teddy take a seat to give their legs a break. Today was fun, I don't move nearly as quickly as the other girls but it was only my first day.
The door chime rings and we all look at the door as two guys stroll into the cafe.
The first guy is slightly taller. He has black hair with matching dark eyes and a Korean face. He's dressed in an all black outfit. Leather jacket, turtleneck, ripped jeans and boots.
The second guy also looks Korean, perfect orange hair, an oversized t-shirt with striped long sleeves underneath, ripped jeans and boots.
"Oh sorry, we're closed." I say, raising my hands.
"They're not customers." Winter rolls her eyes. "In fact they never buy anything at all."
"You know you love seeing my beautiful face everyday babe—" The one with black hair pinches Winter's chin romantically before she instantly flicks his hand away, "Drop dead."
He then high fives Gretchen and Teddy, "Glasses. Shortcake. What's up?"
"I am so confused right now." I admit. Gretchen then holds out her hand. "Lilo, this is Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin, friends of Taehyung's."
I widen my eyes and blink rapidly.
Really? That jerk actually has friends?
"Lilo huh? Got a boyfriend Lilo?" Jungkook smirks and walks towards me. Jimin pulls his arm back to stop him.
"Oh no you don't bro. Sorry, don't listen to him, he'll chase anything with a skirt and a pulse. It's not often Tae hires people, so welcome."
"Thanks," I nervously laugh. "It's nice to meet you both."
I have to admit, there must be something in the water back wherever these guys came from because they are incredibly good looking and their skin is flawless.
The doorbell chimes and Taehyung walks into the cafe with his hands in his pocket.
"There he his. What's up bro?" Jungkook pats Taehyung on the shoulder. "Hey." He replies.
"C'mon, let's go upstairs. See you later Lilo." Jimin bows at me before going upstairs with the boys.
Taehyung seems to keep himself awfully hidden. Teddy did say he's a busy person, if he really built this place all by himself then he must be I guess. But why does no one around here question where he goes?
