Where are we going?

“I love airplanes!” Alexis was bouncing in her seat. “Alex, shut the f**k up.” Dallas, who was sitting behind Alex, kicked the seat. “Hurtful” Alex sat back in her seat. “Finally!” Nick sighed. “Ouch, I expected this from Dallas, but not you Nick.” Alex yelled. “No, I meant we’re finally in Berlin.” Nick shushed Alex “Where are we?” Steve woke up from his nap. “Berlin, I believe is what the Iron Female stated.” Thor peered over the seat. “Why are we in Germany?” Steve sat up suddenly awake. “That’s where we are going on vacation silly.” Alex poked Steve in the face. Steve mumbled something under his breath about Nazi’s or something, while someone over the loudspeaker told them they were beginning their descent. The plane touched down and everyone got off the plane, where Tony was waiting with a limo. “Everyone have a nice flight?” Tony asked once everyone was settled in the limo. “It was nice until Steve started complaining.” Clint muttered. “Why was Cap complaining, it was a free flight after all.” Nick asked. “I don’t really know” Nat replied. “Probably because that last time he was in Germany, he was fighting the Nazi’s.” Alex was staring at the interior of the limo. “Never seen a limo before?” Tony asked. “I’ve seen them plenty I’ve just never been inside of one.” She said. “That’s not true, remember Prom?” Dallas said. “Which one? The one where my date made us walk or the one where we went in your truck?” Alex countered. “Hey, My truck was f*****g awesome” Dallas said. “That it was.” Nick agreed. The driver took them to a hotel where every couple got a room, minus Bruce who received his own. After everyone had settled in they met in Tony and Nick’s room to decide on an itinerary.  “I want to go see the h*******t memorial.” Alex said. “I want to see the Berlin Wall.” Nick argued. “What about the beer tasting? I’m all for that.” Dallas interjected. “Girls, girls, let’s solve this now, first the wall, then the memorial, then we get drunk.” Tony settled the minor dispute. “Fine.” The three grumbled. After Nick had posed with the wall, Alex had cried at the memorial, they all went to 3 beer tastings and stumbled back to their hotel a little tipsy.  “Guys, we have a problem.” Dallas said after she had gathered everyone in her room the next morning. “What?” Nick asked. “You too hungover to have any more fun?” “No, look at the pictures we took yesterday and look closely. I didn’t get drunk.” Dallas mumbled the last part. “They are just photos, Dallas.” Thor looked at her. “Look at who is in every single photo, whether his whole body, or just his torso.” She pointed to the pictures. “Holy balls, that’s your dad...” Alex was shocked. “Hold on, Didn’t your dad die 7 months ago from cancer?” Nat asked. “Yeah he did, or I thought he did.” Dallas sat on the bed. “So the frost giants know where here, which means we need to leave, NOW.” Clint spoke from the corner. “Right, but how can we get out if they are watching our every move?” Lily asked. “We could just run for it?” Alex suggested. “Or maybe use disguises?”  “Or we could ignore it and not let ANYONE know where we are going next. I can get a private plane out here in an hour. We have to stay inside the hotel at all times until that plane is here and we are on it out of Germany.” Tony explained. “Damn, I was starting to like Germany.” Bruce sighed. “So where can we go to hide from these damn frost giants so we can properly train these girls?” Steve asked. “We’ll figure that out when the time comes, but you do bring up a good point, these girls need proper training if they want to survive another mission.” Tony agreed. “I’ve been trained, Tony, I was trained in Krav Maga, Ju jitsu, and Kung Fu.” Dallas pointed out. “I have my suit and that’s all tech, so I don’t have the need to fight.” Nick added. “I can S.I.N.G!” Alex shouted. “Honey, calm down, you’re too damn loud, and that doesn’t help unless you can lull the enemies to sleep with a lullaby.” Nat put her hand on Alex’s shoulder. “No, haven’t you seen Miss Congeniality? Sing, Solar plexus, instep, nose, groin. S. I. N. G. Sing.” Alex started bouncing. “Alexis Jannine! Calm Yo t**s before I smack a bitch.” Dallas yelled. “Ugh...” Alexis cringed. “You not like being called by your full name?” Thor asked. “No I hate my middle name.” Alex shuddered.  “It’s cute, just like you.” Steve poked Alex’s nose. “Puke!” Nick and Dallas laughed. “Guys, can we PLEASE get back on topic here?” Clint asked. “Clint’s right guys, we need to figure this out.” Bruce agreed. “Alex, didn’t you go through basic training?” Tony asked. “Only the very basics and then how to jump out of a plane, I was called away from camp before the rest of the training started, Thank you ever so much.” Alex said sarcastically.  “Steve, is she for real?” Tony was awestruck. “Did you really skip basic training?” “We didn’t skip it, we were not in camp long enough for her to partake in the rest of training.” Steve replied. “Great... Juuuust Great.” Tony muttered. “So now wherever we go there has to be a place for Alex to train.” Nat said. “Well, don’t blame me, I was all ready for training, blame Dallas for calling me.” Alex pointed to Dallas. “If we’re pointing fingers, I blame Nick, she called me.” Dallas wormed her way out. “So this is Tony’s fault.” Nick turned to him. “My fault? How?” Tony looked shocked. “If you hadn't told me to call my friends then I wouldn’t have called Dallas who wouldn’t have called Alex before training.” Nick accused. “Look, either way, we have to train Alex, It’s not fair if she gets left behind and she can’t always rely on Cap and his shield, besides, we all have things we can teach the girls.” Bruce spoke up from the chair he was in. “Banner has a point. It wouldn’t have to be one on one even, you could do it together.” Clint said, now by the nightstand. “We’ll discuss more once we are on the plane, which will be here in 30 minutes, pack up your stuff and met in the lobby in 20.” Tony left Dallas’ room taking Nick with him. “That’s just enough time to pack and stuff the hotel soaps and maybe a towel into my bag.” Alex grabbed Steve’s hand. “Alex, you little thief.” Lily laughed. “What, like you’ve never done it before.” Alex laughed and walked out the door. “She has a point.” Clint shrugged and went back to his room. Bruce followed Lily and Nat out and shut the door behind him. Dallas looked at Thor who was already packing her stuff. “Dallas, I do not know what happened to your father, but I will tell you this, frost giants can not be killed by a midgardian disease, only age or a strong enough whack to the head will bring down a giant.” Thor zipped up Dallas’ suitcase.  “Who am I?” Dallas mumbled to herself. “A beautiful, strong woman, who knows how to take care of herself, but is soft enough to know when she needs taken care of.” Thor crossed the room as he said this, slowly pulling Dallas into a hug. Over in Tony and Nick’s room, Nick was pestering Tony about where they were going. “Why won’t you just tell me!” Nick flopped on the bed. “Because, if I tell you, you’ll tell Dallas, She’ll tell Alex and Alex will tell, well, everybody!” Tony packed his last tool into his second suitcase. “No, I wouldn’t, and why did you bring a suitcase full of tools to Berlin anyway?” Nick asked. “Because you never know what might happen when going on a trip with Alex.” Tony zipped the bag. “Too true.” Nick agreed. “HEY!” Alex bursted into Nick and Tony’s room. “Where we going?” “Alex two things, A) How did you get in this room?” B) Tony isn’t telling anybody.” Nick was only slightly shocked. “I may have stolen your other room key.” Alex held up the room key to show Tony. “Why the f**k did you have coffee.” Tony sighed. “She hasn’t, hotel coffee is disgusting, she had muffins.” Nick sighed and put her hands on Alex’s shoulders. “Honey, I thought we agreed no more muffins after what happened at Myrtle Beach.”  “Ew, Myrtle Beach.” Alex shuddered. “What happened at Myrtle Beach?” Tony looked at Nick. "You don't want to know, trust me". “s**t went down, and people need to stop bringing it up!" "Sorry not sorry, where are we going." Nick asked. "For the last time, I am not telling anybody." "Alright Mr. Stark the captain has been alerted of the change and is ready to pick you up and fly you to Jakarta." JARVIS read the text he received.  "Ooh, Jakarta, never been there before!" Alex buzzed with excitement. "Great job Tony, cut out the middleman, see we didn't even need Dallas to tell her, you did it yourself.  “Alex, I swear if you tell anyone I will murder you.” Tony glared at her “Damn, I can keep my mouth shut ya know.” Alex put the key on the desk and slowly backed out of the room. “I could strangle that girl!” Tony sighed. “That’s not nice to say to one of my best friends.” Nick looked at Tony. “Well if she wasn’t so damn annoying all the time.” Tony yelled at the door, not knowing Alex had come back in to get her phone as she had left it on the bed. “Yes, she gets on everyone’s nerves sometimes, but she tries really hard we love her just the way she is.” Nick sat on the bed, grabbing Alex’s phone. “I just don’t understand her ways of thinking, she can’t be acting like this if she’s ever going to be an official Avenger.” Tony sat next to Nick. “Tony, how could you-”  “Wait, you won’t accept me if I keep acting like myself?” Alex had made herself known interrupting Nick who sprang up from her seat. “I literally can’t help it Tony.” “Wait, no that’s not what I meant.” Tony stood and started toward Alex. “But it’s what you said, you wouldn’t have said it if you didn’t mean it somewhat,” Alex took her phone, and ran out the door. “Way to f*****g go Tony!” Nick ran after Alex. “Shit.” Tony sighed and flopped on the bed.
