Drew's Pov

So much has happened in the past week i dont even know whats going on anymore and i sure as hell dont know what to believe the thoughts and feelings that are running threw my mind is unreal 

i cant help but kiss Raya as she follows me even after i tell her to stay because i know she cares deeply for me and that is why she is so worried about me 

I pull her against me and i pick her up and carry her deeper into the woods but she doesnt know it but i do and there is a pond not all to far back 

i take her to the pond and i kick my shoes off and head into the water with her still in my arms and she is kicking and yelling and laughing 

i gently toss her into the water knowing her top is white but i dont mind 

*oh you lil s**t* Raya yells at me as she comes up from the water and i cant help but laugh at her 

*i thought you needed to cool off, your a bit of a hot head* i say as i dive under the water and swim slowly up her body

i stand on the bottom of the pond and i kiss her very deeply and love on her 

she helps me clear my mind of all the s**t i am going threw

2 days later

we are now settled in the palace 

its alot to take in my new parents 

i do love them after all i thought they were my aunt and uncle since i was a baby 

but this is alot to process and but i take it one day  at a time 

i have been training very hard and tonight i will be shifting for the first time in the court yard because its the safest place its surrounded by the palace and it will be heavily guarded and Raya will be with me to help me threw it all

tonight we will be having once of my favorite meals its BBQ flavored crispy chicken breasts along with mashed potatoes corn and gravy 

i help my self to 2nds and 3rds 

Raya even had seconds she must like it as well 

life all and all is going alright but it has been a lil hard on me to understand it all but lets face it thats a given 

we now have about 1 hour until my first shift and Raya told me that it is very painful but after wards if i wanted to  and felt up to it that she wanted to mate and i honestly would really like that but we will see how i feel after my first shift

i head to my room to get a shower they recomended that i take a cold shower to help my muscles and hopefully make it less painful on me but either way its going to hurt like hell

Raya is dead set on helping me in the shower even tho i keep telling her that i dont need the help but i guess i will be allowing her to help me because she is very stubborn and we all know there is no talking any sense into her 

i let her wash my back and once she is done rinsing me off she just hugs me from the back for a bit 

*Drew i really wish you didnt have to go threw all this, i wish there was another way i dont likee to see you in pain* Raya says and i know she is being honest but its just apart of life and part of becoming a Alpha king 

tomorrow starts my king training they will be not only teaching me but also Raya so we both know how to handle certain situations and how to act appropriate 

life is moving fast i want it to slow down so i can enjoy my time with Raya and get to know her better on a more personal level 

i already put a request in to the king and queen my real parents for a date night alone with Raya 

they are supposed to arrange it all and it will be this friday and thats in 3 days i have a very special date planned not only am i taking her on a much needed date along with hopefully changing both of our futures if she give me the answers i need

i head into our closet and i put on a pair of white pants and a white tshirt Raya also puts on a white sundress 

its tradition to wear white when the future king first shifts along with his mate wearing all white as well and we are not one to break a life long tradition 

once we have our white on we head down to the court yard all the guards are already waiting and prepared to take on anyone who dares to attack me while i am shifting 

Raya turns into her wolf to have a better sense of smell to sense if anyone is near by or a threat to me 

she stands near me at all times and i just wait for the moon to rise and my body to naturally start to shift 

the only good news is this shift is the only one i have to wait for and it is also the most painful the other shifts can happen just by me wanting to shift and they are much less painful 

i suddenly feel my bones slowly starting to shift the pain is unreal 

i cant help but yell out in pain my bones are breaking and shifting and i dont think i am being dramatic this f*****g hurts like no other 

*FUCKKKK* i scream out in pain and slight anger 

why must a wolf go threw so much pain just to become a warewolf this has got to be a joke of some sort

the shift feels like it takes days but i know for sure it has taken hours 

but finally i am on all four paws my fur is carmel colored with black tips and a crown spot on my right shoulder 

Raya also has a crown on her right shoulder now one that i have never noticed before and our wolves look alike a little bit we both have black tips 

my eyes are a ocean blue they could pierece threw anything 

i am staring at my self in a nearby puddle 

Raya and i have been talking threw our minds i guess they call it mind linking and i got it down pack

she puts her nose to my nose and we just stand and stare into each others eyes 

her wolfs name is Raven and i meet her and talk to her as well before my wolf Ray pushes me to the back of our mind 

he is talking to Raya and Raven      

but i need to run and see what these 4 legs can do

Its is also tradition that me and Raya lead the pack for a run so i can get comfortable in my wolf and everyone else can keep me safe and get use to my scent and looks so they reconize me better 

we all head out front of the palace with me and Raya at the front 

*ready?    Set?    lets get these paws digging* i say threw the mind link to everyone as i start running

*its on lil pup* she says back to me 

well i guess the race is on and now i have to show her that i am strong and i can take on all who threaten her or i

i will start showing her by how fast i can run 

it doesnt take me no time to pull away from everyone and noone is able to keep up with me

*DREW YOU HAVE TO COME BACK THERE IS ROUGES NEAR BY!!!!* Raya shouts 

that must be the sewage smell i smell now because the last time rouges attacked i smelled sewage as well 

i stop running and i turn back and start running full force back the way i came

i meet back up with the pack but everyone is fighting rouges and i cant find Raya 

*RAYA WHERE ARE YOU* i shout threw the mind link but no response 

i run trying to find her scent she smells like Carmel and Coconut the smell is mind blowing it smells so good but i cant even find her scent 

i keep running and looking and finally i catch a faint wiff of her scent and i follow it 

before long the sight i see infurates me there is 3 rouges around my mate and one on top of her pinning her to the ground 

i give off a warning growl before i run towards Raya i have no idea what i am doing but i know i must trust my wolf we have to save my mate at all costs  i dont care if i die tonight as long as she lives i will do all in my power to protect her and keep her safe 

i attack the first rouge nearest me but the one thats ontop of raya starts to nip at her and the site i am seeing is making me see red and its pissing me off he is trying to r**e my mate and i wont allow that to happen 

i dont know what comes over me but i have an anger building up inside me the next thing i know i am floating in air nad i am lifting Raya as well and bring her to me i am back in my human form so i grab her wolf in my arms and i move my arms and all 4 of the rouges are now dead on the ground 

i am weak now i have to get Raya and i on the ground safe 

it takes all i can to get us to the ground safely before i colapse and the rest is a blurr i  remember being carried home and put into a bed
