BACK HOME, I WOULD have laughed in the alpha’s face. Here and now, I instead felt like I was tuning into the grand finale of a TV series I’d never before watched while surrounded by the show’s most ardent and devoted fans. Because there was no way I planned to tie myself permanently to a Greenbriar werewolf when doing so would cut off the most important part of my life—the bond to my home pack.
